Beautiful, creepy animation! The three-part demon makes my skin crawl in the best way. You get so much out of that stabilizing, noisy wobble -- is that keyed over the top of the animation, or built into the rig?

Wow, that was amazing! What software do you use? Do you model and rig the characters as well?
Thank you. :) I used 3dsMax, and I was only responsible for animation and rigging. I rigged the character by biped in 3dsMax. Some parts were rigged by bones.

@@ANIMATIONLESSON yes sir, I did and loved every second of it. hahaha Thank you so much for your awesome work 😆 Me & friends had tons of fun playing TERA and dying to Manaia together. By the way, would you happen to be the person responsible for the character's animation? TERA had the best skills animation in the history of action MMOs imho. 😅 After playing Guitar Hero and GunZ The Duel as a child, nothing had such an impact on me as playing Lancer in TERA, PvP and PvE ofc. 🤭 After the game died I started taking piano lessons to deal with the necessity of moving my fingers in such crazy manner. Isn't that awesome? lmao Now my Shandra Manaia is Bach and in the future will be Rachmaninoff 🤤
I'd truly love to hear from you about the thinking process of the team behind the action animation in TERA, which sure you were part of since you're the one responsible for bringing to life the craziest boss to ever exist. 🤣 Congrats for that btw! It wasn't less than 100 times that I found myself lost in the thought of building an MMO with such action animation as TERA. Man, please, share with us a couple details on the thinking process behind TERA's animation, and, in your opinion, what else would you implement to make it even better 🙏🏻❤️

how did you animate those stones from the rock monster.. did you use a script ? or you animated it with rig?
The stones of the rock monsters were handmade one by one using 3ds Max's Link Constraint.
Even if the stones are moving like a whip, I used the Link Constraint manually in the SplineIK Solver.

@@dexcgworks8350 I usually work with 'Pose to Pose' at the rough stage, and then improve the completeness of the hierarchy from the top of the hierarchy in a 'straight head' method. For example, increase the completeness in the order of 'root → reg'.
Finally, check the trajectory of each joint and do the polishing. : )
