Vancouver is definitely ahead of the curve. They have safe consumption sites and places where can get your drugs tested. They also have the Cannabis Substitution Project which offers free high potency edibles to people trying to manage opiate withdrawal. Here in Toronto the safe consumption sites saved over 100 lives just in their first year of operation.
That's good. :-) I reckon, in other parts of the world, "The War on Drugs" is making everything so much worse. :-(
thats progressive for sure. The 2024 study published says there was a significant increase in safe opiate prescriptions as well as a significant rate of opiate poisoning. So they are still doing what they do. They just die "safer" prettyinteresting. Thats just the tip of the iceberg though. The report is fascinating. People talk about how much better it is, when its no better. Its got worse. Go figure

legalize drugs and there has to be a legal supply. Who should take charge of that? just keep it black market? Read the 2024 report on the legalized drugs in Canada. The safe supply has increased opiate poisonings. I know thats opposite of what you said. Interesting isnt it? Where do you get your facts from?
