On Nov 26th at 8:00pm JST *BAND-MAID* performed a 3.5 hour set with a 33 set song list and it was streamed live and I believe you can still get to view the archive stream of the show until December 26th @ *BAND-MAID* official channel.
I saw Band-Maid in Hiroshima on 23 Sep 2023 at Club Quattro. The concert was amazing. 2 solid hours of music and fun. They are absolutely incredible musicians. I was blown away
The concert was streamed and is still available on archive until Dec. 26th however this rendition of Choose Me was the only song where fan cams were allowed. Venues in Japan have a strict no cameras policy so this was unusual. If there are any other songs out there from this concert they are illegally posted and should not be reacted to. If you have the time and money I would recommend you purchase the stream to watch for yourself. This was the best concert I've ever seen in my long-long life. It will also be released sometime in the coming Spring as a Blu-ray/DVD if you want to go that route. Choose Me was the first Band-Maid song I ever heard, about 2 years ago, and I was hooked from then on. Thank you for reacting to this.
Dirty10, there was a second performance of "Choose Me" during the concert. You can pull up footage of it. It was a solo piano and singing performance by Saiki of the same song. It showed how talented Saiki really is. Her playing the piano shocked everyone.
Man, I'd absolutely love to be there! This concert in particular looked great. I'm going to be traveling Asia for a few months the coming spring, and I'm gonna be planning my trip around being able to see Band-Maid and Hanabie if they're playing anytime then.
Let nothing stop you from seeing Band Maid live. I was fortunate enough to stand just a couple feet from Kanami, in a 700 capacity club. I knew instantly that they needed to be in an arena like this; 17,000 capacity. Think about this: they played 33 songs over 3 1/2 hours and still left two full albums worth of hits on the table.
There should be around 15,000 fan cams around to look at, as this song was open for fan cams, the only one of the show! The walk around by the band members was amazing! Saiki and MISA went all the way around the walk way, Kanami stopped and had to run back to not miss her first solo, then Saiki trotted back towards the end and MISA hustled to get back to her place for the end of the song, very cool! Miku also did a walk around during the song "Rock In Me"! Saiki did a beautiful rendition of this song on piano, unaccompanied, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Lots of coolness during this performance, a fitting way to conclude their 2023 10th Anniversary Tour! Did you notice the new battle armor?
Band Maid actually streamed this entire concert live and the recording is still available for viewing, I think. I wouldn't recommend doing any reaction videos to the songs in that concert since that might result in a copyright strike against your channel. The entire concert is well worth the money to watch, they played around 33 songs, and it lasted around 4 hours. Unlike their Lollapalooza concert, the directors and cameramen actually knew what they were doing, or at least knew the band well enough to know where to aim the multiple cameras. They are also going to release a DVD/Bluray video of the concert at some point in the near future.
Pretty sure I read where Band-Maid allowed people this one and only time to break out their recording devices and have at it. They also played this song twice...kinda. Saiki played "Choose Me" on a piano (solo). Yokohama Arena is a 17,000 capacity arena, not sure how many were seated for this show. The last big indoor show was last January at Tokyo Gardens Theater Max capacity of just under 7.000. Also they played 33 songs at this show.
Can you believe that's fancam with no post-production whatsoever? This live was the best I've seen. Other Band-Maid songs to react to? That's a tough question. I would end up wearing you out suggesting few dozens of songs. Are you interested in listening to something very different? More experimental rather than their well-known songs? Matchless Gum (live), Awkward, Yolo, One and Only, Mirage (live), Wonderland (live), Giovanni, Sayonakidori, Corallium and Balance if you're into less commercial but unique song, Onset is instrumental but different from their more recent ones and still is my favourite. For ballads, Anemone, Page, About Us are some of my favs, but other Maidiacs can probably suggest something else. How many have I suggested so far? I think I should stop for now. Saiki's performance was beautiful. Start and end of recording time was announced on the big screen, before and after Choose Me.
