Ale seemingly alternating between bass lines and rhythm on that awesome Spector, carrying the song as her sisters pound and wail away..what an anchor she is!f
When the can elevate Pau's drum kit, they do. Helps make her more visible especially as she has a lot of lead parts. But they aren't huge yet, and many venues don't cater to their ideal setup. But this concert was an exception on many levels (setup, lightshow, filming, mixing, etc).
The song is named Ugh because when they wrote Queen of the murder scene their concept album, they had a lot of problems to write this song. They wrote multiple versions ( 2 of these versions gave The one and the sacrifice 2 other songs from the album) and they want to give up but their father pushed them not to do it
The title of this song is actually about how hard they had to work in order to get it right. They wanted to scrap the song but their dad told them to finish it. And in the process they ended up with a killer song containing transitions, tempo changes and just great in every way.
Indeed, the way I heard the story was they all said UGH! when their dad pushed them to finish the song. Plus, as I understand, from Ugh came two other songs on this album.
Enjoyed your reaction! Pau isn't usually that high up and said she didn't like it as it was an obstacle to the communication they needed on stage. When I saw them in Chicago, on the other hand, I think she was barely elevated, if at all, and standing back about 15 rows, I hardly ever saw her. Unforgettable concert, anyway!
Pau usually only plays on a riser that high when they are headlining shows in larger venues in Mexico. Most of the time she is on a lower or no riser. Ale apparently also doesn’t like the high risers, because she can’t sit or rest her foot on it, which she does at times. 😎👍
The sisters would love your shirt. They have 2 cats, Zelda and Link. Pau said riser way to high will never do it again. Needs to be able to interact with her sisters.
UGH is off the queen of the murder scene album , my opinion is its definitely their best album and the fact that its a concept album even makes it better. Im partial to this album because when i discovered the Warning the album just came out and i played the dam thing a million times and didnt listen to anything else for over a month , i was obsessed!
I felt the same as you when I first heard this song It's grown on me and this performance was awesome. Pau killed it on the drums 🔥 along with Ale's bassline so strong love when she stands out like she does here. 🔥Dany is a rockstar great front woman. How about that smile when she was playing that riff so cool. 🔥Thanks Dirty enjoyed this. ⚡⚡⚡🤘✌
Maybe just a little hallucination Dirty....all 21 songs of this EPIC concert that is where Pau is, on top of the world where she belongs. Love the reaction as always...Rock on Ladies..DPA/TW and I am in the 10% subbed my man....keep TW coming on the channel.
-UGH : que buena voz de Dany ,estupendo solo, excelente linea de bajo y Pau una de las mejores linea de bateria de Pau ,que buen tema del album conceptual de QOTMS ,según TW su canción mas complicada de terminar por eso se llama UGH
Pau really did not like the height of the drum kit as she likes to be closer to her sisters on stage. That was the way they designed the stage so she went with it. I guess it was designed that way as Pau does lead sing on a couple songs and they wanted the audience to see her which makes sense.
🌪️that endingsucks u in, an emotional whirlwind spiraling down in the queen of the murder scene's, the character of their concept album, state of if mind (emotional rollercoaster)🤯👍😀🎆🎉💥🌌💜🔥🥳🎹🎸⚠️⚠️⚠️♾️☠️☠️☠️🥁🌎🌍🌏🇺🇸🇲🇽Pau is usually lower, but i think she got set up highe again on the recent Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City concerts
easiest to say Metropolitan Theater instead of trying to say the Spanish form ;) there were two or three other songs that were spawned from *Ugh* ... it was a hard one and they really had to work on it... the result is great! DPA/TW wanted to shelve it but their father kept after them to complete it... they were like "ugh!" and that stuck as the name... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
They put the drum set up higher for this particular concert just for vidio production only. Pau says she doesnt like being elevated because she feels she cant interact with dany and ale as well and feels out on her own so she prefers tob be down on yhe floor. I personally think its way better for yhe audience for her to be up higher. The audience down on the floor gave trouble seeing her because she set back further on thr stage.
I don’t like it that tall either, although being short as well I appreciate the ability to have the band visible over people’s noggins. Pau didn’t care for climbing up and down in the dark and said she felt isolated from her sisters. (I always subscribe first if I’m going to be boring people to death with my comments.)
Lzzy Hale has said that she had that Explorer custom made for Dany, strings and pickups all to Dany's specs...so technically, it's not one of Lzzy's signature Explorers.
"Tee - at - row", or "theater" in English. But his main issue is "Metropolitan", which is pretty much the same in English as it is in Spanish. I find it vaguely amusing he has more problems with the "familiar" word than the "foreign word", but I get it - it's not a common every-day word to use for most people, and things like that which are rarely used tend to get mixed up in the mind, even if you've at least known of it's existence for years. Practice makes perfect, after all...
“deliberate”. perfect word.

Straight up rock tune. One of my favorites with all the change ups.

...and so every time he suggested they take another crack at it, they collectively said, "Ugh!! Not this thing _again!_ " 😋

Ok thank you! And you got some kickass hair my man. Wish I had your hairline too 🤣

She is higher than usual, and Pau stated see did not like being that high.
The Warning!! 🔥🤘

That show in Chicago was so good. Loud. Hot in there for sure.

love listening to Pau, her drumming is very balanced/timed. perfect interpretation rhythmically.

Subbed. Thanks for supporting the TW. Greetings from Toronto.
Thanks for the sub!
This song played at The Rebel Lounge is top notch IMO. Whether you react to it or enjoy on your own is worth the experience.

Like your reaction at Tee Atro Met.

Dude, seriously, we act to them live at the rebel lounge. Doing this its raw and it's so good
IMO, the version of Ugh from Lunario is superior. Honorable mention for the version from the Rebel Lounge.
Lzzy Hale has said that she had that Explorer custom made for Dany, strings and pickups all to Dany's specs...so technically, it's not one of Lzzy's signature Explorers.
You still didn't pronounce Teatro right... but at least you were wearing the name of one of their cats!
