Ended up ordering a M6 holster for my MR920 with a TLR8A light. Didn’t do much research but have a huge appreciation for Shan and you as well. Received it yesterday. Trying it for comfort around the house today. The plastic mono clip provided on it was torture. Ordered a discreet mono-block clip (Amazon $12) to replace it since I am a huge fan of that style clip. Put the soft loops on it. Had never tried soft loops on a holster. So far…not sure why I’ve waited so long. Flexible yet secure. And love the way they snap and unsnap. I love the high ride height of the holster. Can be adjusted deeper but I love the high height for draw purchase. Most holsters sit too low IMO and provide no means of raising to an adequate height. Plus this help to resolve the draw hand knuckle issue when coming in contact with holster claws. Seems that won’t be an issue with the M6. When I first unpackaged the holster i was not sure I’d like it. But so far so good. Comfort comparisons are being made to my current EDC holster which is a Tenicor SAGAX LUX2 AIWB Holster.

I have a werkz holster for my 19x and I love it. I was skeptical at first but it was the only company at the time I could find a holster that worked with my light. When I received mine at first glance and feel I had some doubts. It was so simple and the kydex even felt a little suspect to me. Fast forward 2 1/2 years later and I wear this holster religiously. It is so smooth in my opinion and it was perfect for me right out the box. I didn’t have to mess with the retention or ride height. I get a fast and full grip on every draw from concealed. Just received my wertz holster for my 365 w/ pmm comp and Steamlight sub 7 holster and totally impressed. It’s very light weight and the gun fits like a glove. Very comfortable and conceals as good as any holster on the market. Really impressed and a bargain for what you get.

I LOVE my Werkz holster!! I have the Taurus G3C w/Olight and they made the holster that fits this combo perfectly!! The only mod I added was a small pad for a better comfort, beyond that, I won't get any other holster brand for any of my pistols going forward! Now, if they could only make a car holster attachment system!
Good review. I really like the guys at Werkz. The RUclips content is good and they seem like a genuinely good company that's just putting out good products. I researched for about a month finally ordered the M6 and some accessories. I wanted so much to like their holster. I guess it comes down to carry position and body type. I am a skinny dude and have a long torso. The ride height in appendix carry just didn't work for me. It just set to low to be comfortable or establish a good purchase. If there was just a little more height/ ride adjustments I think I could have made it work. The other negative for me, the molded area for suppressor height sights seems a bit excessive adding mass to the holster. Either way, the holster is quality and the company is solid. They processed my original order super fast and return process equally as concise and seamless. Good to see Werkz getting your support!! Enjoying your content and best of luck with your channel!

Wow! Simplistic design but very clean looking and made well. One of the best looking and effective built in wedges I’ve ever seen. That’s what I like about a good holster. None of the fluff but all of the function. I agree about the pull dot loops too. Once you try them, you may never want to go back to clips.
I've wanted to do a review on Werkz Holsters for a while and I think they are by far one of the superior Holsters depending on configuration that you can buy! The one for the Taurus G2C with Olight Baldr Mini GL also fits Glock 19 with same light. The soft loops are the key to comfortability! If you have a Werkz holster, you need to try the soft loops!! I literally just put mine on a couple weeks ago and it's so much better when sitting while driving, standing, bending over, just that simple conversion made a huge difference.
I’m the same way with a collection of boneyard holsters, lol. My EDC is a SIG M18 carried AIWB, and I absolutely love the BlackPoint Tactical holster from SIG’s store. However, when I ventured back in to the wpn mounted light arena, and settled on the 7A light, I needed a compatible holster. I bought a M6 and the fit to the wpn system is top notch! As a DAV, I need a wedge to help keep my spare tire from pushing the grip foreword. I bought a $4 foam pad from Walmart, and cut a section to fit the holster with enough length to curve over the muzzle end of the holster (works well w my secondary EDC M17!). I used GOON Tape to wrap the pad to the holster and have carried it extensively! The setup is so comfortable, that one day at the gas pump, just down from the house, though I felt my mag carrier on my left hip, I actually thought I left my pistol at home! Also, it’s so comfortable and easy to conceal that my P365X is put away. Anyway, I made several 7-9 hour road trips with the M18 AIWB, and no problem… other than dropping something on the floorboard, lol. The downside to my rig is donning the holster as it’s a bit bulky, but worth the extra effort once donned. The sweat guard… I like the idea, but cut mine off. I prefer to grab a fist full of grip and not have to work around the sweat guard. Some days, I wear a thin ribbed muscle shirt under my t-shirt, polo, etc for the pistol to rub against. Works very well, but on range sessions doing hundreds of draw strokes, I find myself tucking in that shirt 2-3 times (helps to keep the thumb nail trimmed down, lol). There’s no interference with the manual safety. I engage it before holstering, then flick it off. It never moves where I leave it. Buy a Werkz holster with confidence! Oh, my Red Gun (with a 7A) and M18 Airsoft with a 7A works well with my Werkz holster setup though the fit is a tad loose - training pistol’s fault, lol. The Red Gun is my 7A light trainer at home, and I use it to help don my holster, do a few draws from concealment before inserting my live M18 and heading out.
I haven't made my review video yet, but the Werkz M6 has become one of my favorite holsters. And honestly, one of my favorite RUclips channels as well.

I just bought another M6 and an M7 from Werkz holsters. I've been running the M7 for a long time and love it on my G19 with a Olight PL-PRO. I am running the m6 for G19 w/pl mini 2 as well. Do u have draw issues? If I don’t tilt my pistol to the left of my body it hangs up and won’t draw smooth at all.

only regret with getting a werks holster for my first firearm several years back is that it works so well, and their customer service is so good, and they will custom build pretty much any combination of pistol and light you can throw at them, that ill probably never bother trying anything else. so, like, that's not much fun. kind of skipped an entire phase of being a newbie gun owner.
Very good video, i have the shadow systems mr920 and it's equipped with the holosun 507 C optic and i added aolight pl-3r rechargeable light so i went with the M6 IWB holster by Qerkz with the mag pouch and belt straps etc and its one of the best holsters i own now.
I like the DCC Mod 4 clips, I bought some pull the dot loops when I got my Henry's holster and got them for my Darkstargear Orion as well, but the DCC clips get it for me

Interesting..did you orders yours with the bottom sealed! I’m not sure if that was an option but mine is about a inch longer..not a deal breaker because I may eventually add an threaded barrel .. so keep that i mind folks the open ended W6 version is about a inch longer. When I have one of “those” days at the range it’s usually because I am trying to work on too many skills at once. I have to remind myself to focus on a few skills in specific and not try to practice everything simultaneously.
Great review! Thank you! In my experience built in wedges suck. I can buy or make my own wedge and be able to modify it to my comfort, but I couldn't do that with the build in wedge on my last holster. I'm not a fan.
I’ve been carrying using their m6 holster for two years, recently I noticed a crack in the holster, I told Werkz about it, and I don’t know if I got lucky or they are just that kind of company but they offered to send me out a new holster, well I’m not sure what happened at the company in the last two years but the new holster they just sent me out it’s retention is aweful and I don’t feel comfortable using it, now the old holster CLICKS in with a crisp nice sound and I sort of wish the new one was the same but they already sent me out a 70 dollar holster for free I almost feel bad telling them to take it back and fix it or send me a different one, but I might just do that anyways and see what they say!
I had a problem with the back tip of the claw digging into my middle finger knuckle on the draw, so I took it off and rounded and polished the back tip and now it's perfect smooth on the knuckles and a little more room for my finger to slide in on the grip. Now I'm loving this holster. btw it's the glock 48 43x mos version, hope this helps if anyone else has this problem.
i dont think you have any option other than the high sweat guard, but if you dont like it, its really simple to cut off and sand smooth to get rid of it

I’m assuming you carry one in the head the tlr 7s weird activation buttons don’t open the trigger guard a little bit more to things possibly getting in there ?
I have a Glock 43x MOS with LTR-7 Sub Light. The light sticks out further than the barrel. Yet, on the Wertz website, the holster for this gun is shaped the opposite, in that the barrel comes out further than the light. So, I'm confused, and this is what's keeping me from purchasing.
I know it's a different design, but how does this compare with a tier 1 type setup? I tried a cheap kydex from ebay. Not comfortable. Thought appendix carry wasn't for me. Then picked up a second hand T1C. World of difference! I want one for several pews in my rotation, but the price of T1C. Is difficult to swallow. Came across werkz. Wondering how it compares in comfort?
I have had one for 6 months for my g3c and absolutely love it. Worn edc at work and everything and a lot of manual labor and presssure against it and it does more than hold up. Back at this video that sold me looking for the discount code so I can get a holster for my new g29 with olight
Why do I keep stumbling across these after I've already purchased something else and it doesn't work? It's almost like Google is malicious... Duh! I've just spent the past weeks and months buying this that the other thing for my sig Sauer p365xl with Romeo red dot. First Romeo Vance guns here in Columbus Ohio installed it wrong and I had to return it and put a second one on myself. They sold me the xl in a package with the safety and two extra magazines. Like everyone else I spent way too much money trying to find a holster that wasn't a piece of crap. I ended up with the iwb lock leather because kydex just digs into my side. Owb holsters just stick out like crazy but I bought one anyway with a paddle and almost never use it. Now everybody says you got to have a light and I listen to tactical rifleman on the RUclipsz. So I end up ordering two or three of those and find out they either don't fit like the o lights or you can't find holsters and on and on. So I bought and returned like two or three different lights a couple of adapters a couple other items never got delivered so I got refunds on everything refunds on everything thank you Amazon despite it being a huge pain in the ass. Finally I get the tlr-7 sub and it fits and of course the battery is dead on arrival. The one thing about Amazon is when you call and complain they offer you gift cards and refund so I got 20 bucks back an ordered like six Duracell batteries basically for free! Of course now I've got three different holsters on order and we'll see which ones function. Why is it always this way with our toys?

only regret with getting a werks holster for my first firearm several years back is that it works so well, and their customer service is so good, and they will custom build pretty much any combination of pistol and light you can throw at them, that ill probably never bother trying anything else. so, like, that's not much fun. kind of skipped an entire phase of being a newbie gun owner.

Very good video, i have the shadow systems mr920 and it's equipped with the holosun 507 C optic and i added aolight pl-3r rechargeable light so i went with the M6 IWB holster by Qerkz with the mag pouch and belt straps etc and its one of the best holsters i own now.

I like the DCC Mod 4 clips, I bought some pull the dot loops when I got my Henry's holster and got them for my Darkstargear Orion as well, but the DCC clips get it for me

Interesting..did you orders yours with the bottom sealed! I’m not sure if that was an option but mine is about a inch longer..not a deal breaker because I may eventually add an threaded barrel .. so keep that i mind folks the open ended W6 version is about a inch longer. Great review love mine! I run a g19-5 mos trl7a flex in mine 🤙🏿

When I have one of “those” days at the range it’s usually because I am trying to work on too many skills at once. I have to remind myself to focus on a few skills in specific and not try to practice everything simultaneously.

In my experience built in wedges suck. I can buy or make my own wedge and be able to modify it to my comfort, but I couldn't do that with the build in wedge on my last holster. I'm not a fan.

I’ve been carrying using their m6 holster for two years, recently I noticed a crack in the holster, I told Werkz about it, and I don’t know if I got lucky or they are just that kind of company but they offered to send me out a new holster, well I’m not sure what happened at the company in the last two years but the new holster they just sent me out it’s retention is aweful and I don’t feel comfortable using it, now the old holster CLICKS in with a crisp nice sound and I sort of wish the new one was the same but they already sent me out a 70 dollar holster for free I almost feel bad telling them to take it back and fix it or send me a different one, but I might just do that anyways and see what they say!

I had a problem with the back tip of the claw digging into my middle finger knuckle on the draw, so I took it off and rounded and polished the back tip and now it's perfect smooth on the knuckles and a little more room for my finger to slide in on the grip. Now I'm loving this holster. btw it's the glock 48 43x mos version, hope this helps if anyone else has this problem.
i dont think you have any option other than the high sweat guard, but if you dont like it, its really simple to cut off and sand smooth to get rid of it

I have a Glock 43x MOS with LTR-7 Sub Light. The light sticks out further than the barrel. Yet, on the Wertz website, the holster for this gun is shaped the opposite, in that the barrel comes out further than the light. So, I'm confused, and this is what's keeping me from purchasing.

I always order my holsters with a high sweat guard then just cut them down to fit. Sometimes the low guards are too low.

I know it's a different design, but how does this compare with a tier 1 type setup? I tried a cheap kydex from ebay. Not comfortable. Thought appendix carry wasn't for me. Then picked up a second hand T1C. World of difference! I want one for several pews in my rotation, but the price of T1C. Is difficult to swallow. Came across werkz. Wondering how it compares in comfort?

I have had one for 6 months for my g3c and absolutely love it. Worn edc at work and everything and a lot of manual labor and presssure against it and it does more than hold up. Back at this video that sold me looking for the discount code so I can get a holster for my new g29 with olight

Why do I keep stumbling across these after I've already purchased something else and it doesn't work? It's almost like Google is malicious... Duh! I've just spent the past weeks and months buying this that the other thing for my sig Sauer p365xl with Romeo red dot. First Romeo Vance guns here in Columbus Ohio installed it wrong and I had to return it and put a second one on myself. They sold me the xl in a package with the safety and two extra magazines. Like everyone else I spent way too much money trying to find a holster that wasn't a piece of crap. I ended up with the iwb lock leather because kydex just digs into my side. Owb holsters just stick out like crazy but I bought one anyway with a paddle and almost never use it. Now everybody says you got to have a light and I listen to tactical rifleman on the RUclipsz. So I end up ordering two or three of those and find out they either don't fit like the o lights or you can't find holsters and on and on. So I bought and returned like two or three different lights a couple of adapters a couple other items never got delivered so I got refunds on everything refunds on everything thank you Amazon despite it being a huge pain in the ass. Finally I get the tlr-7 sub and it fits and of course the battery is dead on arrival. The one thing about Amazon is when you call and complain they offer you gift cards and refund so I got 20 bucks back an ordered like six Duracell batteries basically for free! Of course now I've got three different holsters on order and we'll see which ones function. Why is it always this way with our toys?
