They really are a group very loved by the fans, by their juniors, seniors, directors, cameramen, dancers, staff...they are so simple and humble that they are easy to love.
ngl he really seems like the kind of person who is good with people, and really able to hold a conversation well. he has a lot of charisma and even with the language barrier he never seems nervous or anything. he seems like a very charming and sincere kinda guy.

I never realised how good Hongjoong's command in english have become. You could tell that he understood some jokes cracked by Josh and Ollie whereas San had trouble processing it. And the last bit where he explained how happy he was to be on their channel really just cemented his growth. This makes me so proud as an atiny who has stuck by them since 2020 :') San has also improved so much! To be able to understand the conversation and reply back with an appropriate use of the language already shows his huge growth (during wave era if I'm correct, he was replying to english speaking interviewers with onomatopoeias to emphasise his feelings. Now he's able to communicate them well just by explaining it). I'm so proud of where they have come and can't wait to see their improvement in the future!
San is so respectful, most of the time he hides taking a bite of food with his hand. He actually speaks English better than I thought. I think he is a little shy when he speaks English. Such a cute bunny !!!

when Hongjoong thanked Josh and Ollie for their channel for helping him practice his English, it was wholesome because Josh and Ollie (Josh especially) are used to have people thanking them for introducing Korean culture (language included) to non-Koreans and now having a Korean thanking them for helping him improving his English must be a new experience (in a good way) lol
At first, I was wondering why Josh didn't talk anything in Korean and what if Hongjoong and San intentionally asked Josh not to talk in Korean with them. Turns out it's true! They wanted to use this chance to speak in English, San is good! And Hongjoong is just the sweetest 🥹
I figured that out too. Josh was speaking slowly in English and not rephrasing in Korean. Proud of these two guys because it's so hard to speak in another language.

I am SO SO SO unbelievably proud of my boys.... and San constantly blows me away with his pronunciation. Every single day he gets better and better, I can tell hes enjoying speaking english too and getting to show off his skills in these new interviews. Ateez have no foreign members to practice with or anything, and they have done so much work to learn english...every single one of them. I really respect that. Especially with how busy and crazy things have been for them the last few years. I will never stop hyping up Ateez. They really deserve it.
He's really improving so much. The members said rather than going out and enjoying the view while on their world tour San likes to be in his room studying English and Japanese. Recently he said he practiced to memorized 100 words per day 🥺❤️

Lovely compliment, albeit massively creepy: but I see loads of people who live on the other side of the world from them writing the same things as you. I can't judge, I went outside Ozzy's house in England in the early noughties and put my osbournes dvd under the gate and rang the intercom telling them I have left fan mail. I got my DVD back, unsigned, via post but received a signature print! As long as you have a life outside of these guys that's all that matters. I feel sorry for them in a way as they're using lots of makeup to match present themselves as pale/white; of course this is to appeal to their fans. Either way, very tslented and handsome men.
I'm mostly into girl groups, but ATEEZ were definitely the highlight of my KCON experience many years ago. Everyone in attendance had nothing bad to say about ATEEZ. This collab is such a welcome surprise!
The politness of these two young KPop stars is heartwarming. I've always covered my mouth when talking to someone while I still have food in my mouth. It's respectful toward the person or people around you who DO NOT WANT to see the chewed up food in your mouth OR... the possiblity while your talking you spit food toward them without meaning too (may sound funny... but it's outright rude). It shows the upbringing around the family table was respectful.
I don't know about in England, but I can tell you some American teenagers and young adults could learn manners from these two young men. Sometimes I think respect and common courtesy has been lost in quite a few of the younger generations here.
This may have been many people’s first time with ATEEZ but it’s my first time ever seeing a Jolly video. As an ATEEZ fan, I always worry that interviewers will be rude about their English, nationality or anything… but I’m so glad these two funny dudes matched Hongjoong and San so well, the energy was FUN and CHILL. Ateez is great! They're my first and ult kpop group when i'd avoided kpop for so long. A lot of fans are in their 20s, 30s+ actually; i'm 31 and have so many atiny friends my age and older. Their music slaps, and they really go out of their way to include diverse ages, genders, and nationalities of all of their fans. I got interested because of their humor and then hooked on their music but i stayed because i've genuinely never seen such kinder, sweeter boys. I feel like i gained 8 adorable little brothers who i'm so proud of.

San and Hongjoong are ultimate gentlemen with their immaculate style both in their dress and their warm personalities. Ateez is absolutely killing it on this tour!
I don’t know how to explain this but you can definitely feel that Ateez are such genuine people by the way they talk and present themselves. I know people would say it’s different on and off camera, but sometimes you get that feeling. It happened with Bang Chan during his concert as well, and you can immediately tell he’s such a genuine person. I’ve not met Ateez in real life nor have I been to their concert, but most videos that I’ve watched, it portrays the same genuine aura.
I've been to their concert in Paris 3 weeks ago and you could feel the sincerity of their love and personalities. They are not faking anything to gain more fans, they are really humble and kind 😢
I respect that the dark haired guest kept true to his traditions and didn't let himself or his friend be seen speaking with food in their mouths. I'm guessing he's the "front man" for their group since they called him "the mountain" and he made a point to stay strong. That's a lot of responsibility and I respect him for keeping up with it.

He said his dad named him San (mountain in Korean) bc "he wanted him to be a comforting hill for some people and for others, an enormous mountain that they can’t dare to challenge. A truly grand mountain." There is no actual front man for the grp so to speak bc every member has his role and gets center position at different parts of a song/performance. But San is indeed one of the more easily recognised member bc he is an outstanding performer. The other guest is the actual leader of the 8-member group and is referred to as Captain. You can hear Josh calling him Captain Hongjoong when he invited him to try the ginger beer. Hongjoong is the main rapper and spokesperson for the grp.

I would also like to say that I'm more well versed in American heavy metal bands so I'm not used to how other countries do their bands. I do still appreciate the effort and everything else put in to creating music of any genre. It's never an easy path, but those who follow it and are dedicated to it deserve respect.

I must say that when you mentioned "frontman", rock band immediately comes to mind bc I grew up listening to a lot of bands, in the 90s and early 2000s. Boy would make an excellent frontman, but emotional, sappy ballads are his personal preference (it's ok Jongho I will still support you!) As an ESL Teacher, it AMAZES me just how fluent Hongjoong’s English is! Like he says he’s not fluent to the level of a native speaker but he communicates so well that you’d have no problem understanding him! Also San’s pronunciation? DAMN ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I like the fact that Hongjoong understood all their jokes. Humor usually gets lost in translation. I’ve heard Brits say that even Americans don’t get their dry humor sometimes. HJ had me laughing just as much as Ollie! Both are hilarious!

Having been a fan of JOLLY for 6 years and ATEEZ for 4 years at this point, I was GOBSMACKED when I saw this in my subscriptions. Josh and Ollie are always sooooo funny and respectful and I'm so glad San and Hongjoong had a lovely time and were able to properly converse. Their English has improved so much!! I've always wondered what it'd be like if the two did a collab and this did not disappoint. I'm sure I'll come back to this video loads in the future and hopefully next time the rest of the teezers can come along, I think Yunho and Ollie would get along great 😂. I never realised how good Hongjoong's command in english have become. You could tell that he understood some jokes cracked by Josh and Ollie whereas San had trouble processing it. And the last bit where he explained how happy he was to be on their channel really just cemented his growth. This makes me so proud as an atiny who has stuck by them since 2020 :') San has also improved so much! To be able to understand the conversation and reply back with an appropriate use of the language already shows his huge growth (during wave era if I'm correct, he was replying to english speaking interviewers with onomatopoeias to emphasise his feelings. Now he's able to communicate them well just by explaining it). I'm so proud of where they have come and can't wait to see their improvement in the future!

San’s vocabulary and pronunciation is so good! And Hongjoong’s English skills are really good because he’s able to convey his humor! That’s really difficult in a language that you’re not fluent in
San really inherited the royal blood, just look at his attitude when greeting n eating n talking just so polite and elegant

I am SO SO SO unbelievably proud of my boys.... and San constantly blows me away with his pronunciation. Every single day he gets better and better, I can tell hes enjoying speaking english too and getting to show off his skills in these new interviews. Ateez have no foreign members to practice with or anything, and they have done so much work to learn english...every single one of them. I really respect that. Especially with how busy and crazy things have been for them the last few years. I will never stop hyping up Ateez. They really deserve it.
He's really improving so much. The members said rather than going out and enjoying the view while on their world tour San likes to be in his room studying English and Japanese. Recently he said he practiced to memorized 100 words per day 🥺❤️

Lovely compliment, albeit massively creepy: but I see loads of people who live on the other side of the world from them writing the same things as you. I can't judge, I went outside Ozzy's house in England in the early noughties and put my osbournes dvd under the gate and rang the intercom telling them I have left fan mail. I got my DVD back, unsigned, via post but received a signature print! As long as you have a life outside of these guys that's all that matters. I feel sorry for them in a way as they're using lots of makeup to match present themselves as pale/white; of course this is to appeal to their fans. Either way, very tslented and handsome men.

The politness of these two young KPop stars is heartwarming. I've always covered my mouth when talking to someone while I still have food in my mouth. It's respectful toward the person or people around you who DO NOT WANT to see the chewed up food in your mouth OR... the possiblity while your talking you spit food toward them without meaning too (may sound funny... but it's outright rude). It shows the upbringing around the family table was respectful.
It's a big rule in South Korea to cover your mouth, but yeah Hongjoong and San are super polite in general!
I don't know about in England, but I can tell you some American teenagers and young adults could learn manners from these two young men. Sometimes I think respect and common courtesy has been lost in quite a few of the younger generations here.
This may have been many people’s first time with ATEEZ but it’s my first time ever seeing a Jolly video. As an ATEEZ fan, I always worry that interviewers will be rude about their English, nationality or anything… but I’m so glad these two funny dudes matched Hongjoong and San so well, the energy was FUN and CHILL. Thanks to Josh and Olly I have now discovered ATEEZ. My god, the song Halazia is EPIC!! I can't stop listening to it... just such pure emotion coming from their performance, not only in the singing, but also face expressions from the acting too. And the visuals from their MV is out of this world!

Ateez is great! They're my first and ult kpop group when i'd avoided kpop for so long. A lot of fans are in their 20s, 30s+ actually; i'm 31 and have so many atiny friends my age and older. Their music slaps, and they really go out of their way to include diverse ages, genders, and nationalities of all of their fans. I got interested because of their humor and then hooked on their music but i stayed because i've genuinely never seen such kinder, sweeter boys. I feel like i gained 8 adorable little brothers who i'm so proud of.

I don’t know how to explain this but you can definitely feel that Ateez are such genuine people by the way they talk and present themselves. I know people would say it’s different on and off camera, but sometimes you get that feeling. It happened with Bang Chan during his concert as well, and you can immediately tell he’s such a genuine person. I’ve not met Ateez in real life nor have I been to their concert, but most videos that I’ve watched, it portrays the same genuine aura.
I've been to their concert in Paris 3 weeks ago and you could feel the sincerity of their love and personalities. They are not faking anything to gain more fans, they are really humble and kind 😢

I respect that the dark haired guest kept true to his traditions and didn't let himself or his friend be seen speaking with food in their mouths. I'm guessing he's the "front man" for their group since they called him "the mountain" and he made a point to stay strong. That's a lot of responsibility and I respect him for keeping up with it.

He said his dad named him San (mountain in Korean) bc "he wanted him to be a comforting hill for some people and for others, an enormous mountain that they can’t dare to challenge. A truly grand mountain."
There is no actual front man for the grp so to speak bc every member has his role and gets center position at different parts of a song/performance. But San is indeed one of the more easily recognised member bc he is an outstanding performer. The other guest is the actual leader of the 8-member group and is referred to as Captain. You can hear Josh calling him Captain Hongjoong when he invited him to try the ginger beer. Hongjoong is the main rapper and spokesperson for the grp.

I would also like to say that I'm more well versed in American heavy metal bands so I'm not used to how other countries do their bands. I must say that when you mentioned "frontman", rock band immediately comes to mind bc I grew up listening to a lot of bands, in the 90s and early 2000s. There are some Ateez tracks that are electric guitar and drums heavy. In fact, the song that introduced me to Ateez was a cover of a 90s Korean duo. You can search for Ateez Black Cat Nero mv. Another one I'd love to recommend is Guerrilla. When I first listened to it, it for some reason made me feel nostalgic and reminded me of Blur's Song 2 and I re-visited tt video after like 20 years.

Having been a fan of JOLLY for 6 years and ATEEZ for 4 years at this point, I was GOBSMACKED when I saw this in my subscriptions. I've always wondered what it'd be like if the two did a collab and this did not disappoint. I don't know their music. But being raised in the south and having to attend Cotillion classes, I love the fact that they eat with respect and manners. Even in this age, they still cover their mouth. There is respect for the chef and diners
