A lot of people may look at the price tag and allow that to deter them. I normally would. But to be frank, Holo Taco polishes are highly worth the investment. I get constant compliments on my nails because of it and that's a first for me lmao. Highly, highly recommend.
Thank you for that comment you made about how the pressure matters with stamping. I can never make stamping work for me and I couldn't tell if it was me or the quality of my polishes/plates/stamper. I'm gonna dig my stamping supplies out of the bottom of my manicure box and try again with a lighter touch.
@@AlwaysPolished I don't have insta (I'm old lol) but I tried it with a lighter touch. I wasn't able to get my HT polish to pick up, but the second polish I tried (just a plain white drugstore polish) picked up with no issues. I'm now rocking butterflies on my accent nails!
Thanks so much! Only because I've been doing it so long. I gave up for months the first time I tried. Turned out I had a poor quality stamper. Connect with me on insta if you ever need help! @alwayspolishedlife
I love this collection. It's so easy to work with and goes on so smoothly. I actually like these way more than the holo glitters from eariler collections - and I love those. Doing gradients with these is stupidly easy, and you can even do brush gradients/not really gradients really easily.
I love every collections what Cristine came up with!! I literally loved everything! Cause I'm a big fan of holographic..or holo..like Cristine!😍😍😍 They will be absolutely gorgeous 💖
Somer, you’re so beautiful! ⭐️ I really wanted this collection... sadly... it was too expensive for me. It came out right when my mom was in the hospital. My dad hadn’t worked over a month while my mom was there... so my sister and I had to work a lot, money went towards a lot, then I saw it was sold out haha they are BEAUTIFUL colors! And I love how you showed them!! One day I’ll get this! 💞💞
Glad I stumbled upon this before I tried doing a stamp later with my polishes! I'm glad to see they do as i'm layering mine over Unicorn skin later today! (I didn't get the whole collection, but I'm a huge fan of Blue, purple and magenta! I'm planning on getting orange and red when she does a restock.
Welcome!! Glad to have you 💜 I wanted to test mine, so that we all didn't have to "waste" ours trying. I also haven't had time to do an actual mani stamping with these, but I have one planned! 🧜♀️
I agree with you on the magenta jelly name...I thought it would be a jelly polish. I love these colors but they were not as holo as I expected, and that's what made the cost so high apparently.i don't buy everything HT releases, so it was worth it to me to get this collection, good nearly one coat rainbow polishes (only orange isn't a one coater for me). I don't mind spending on good indie polish.
Yes! I use the Big Bling Stamper from Clear Jelly Stamper. ruclips.net/video/NSN3CAXpW_U/видео.html I clean my plates with pure acetone and a cotton ball or make up round. Using polish remover with oils in it can leave residue on the plate. Hope this helps! 💜
Always Polished I use pure acetone too and it leaves a film on there. And the cotton pad leaves cotton fibers on it. Do you not scrub it with the cotton ball?
Always Polished I’ll go ahead and order me one. Thank you. Always10 ;-) I’m looking for nail polish other than black and white. Any brands that work well for stamping? Thank you
Love stamping and this collection. The draw to these for me is the shift and glitter and I think stamping you don't showcase what makes these special over other polished. I would use these as a base and then stamp on white and on top a design
Such a good point! I knew there would be some stamping addicts out there wondering if these were opaque enough to stamp with, and I wanted to be able to answer that question, rather than a bunch of us wasting our polishes trying not knowing other people had already done so. I hope you enjoyed the video! 💜
Thanks for following! 💜 I'll be releasing a stamping "How To" series towards the end of July for the basics of stamping, and an advanced stamping techniques series there after 😊
this was a great video; thanks for sharing! i do wish you'd shown an actual stamping design manicure with these though (just for fun). also i couldn't hear you very well at the end; maybe you could consider turning down the music when you're talking live (as opposed to doing a voiceover)?
I wasn’t able to get mine to stamp, but clearly I need to try again once I can get more in the restock. Too bad I don’t think it’ll be by the new collection drop this Saturday 😫
I love this collection and all the holo taco products. My only problem is that shipping to the UK is in the range of $30 US so it is a bit prohibitive.
@@AlwaysPolished I'm in Canada where it's $15 US Shipping, but my Son, Spouse and I knew we had to get it. very worth it, and I'm loving the nailart I've done with it. I haven't gotten into stamping yet. Might be the next tools I pick up though. :-)
I tried to do some stamping with that collection and I could not get it to work at all! Do you have any tips on why that could be? I'm rather new to stamping. Thanks!
Yes I do: was the imag you used very detailed? I had a hard time doing very thin lines and very detailed designs with these polishes. Also, work fast! The polish-any polish-when stamping dries fast, so it's important to be quick. Try rolling the stamper to pick up the image, VS doing an up and down motion. What stamper do you use? Does it work with other polishes?
@@AlwaysPolished I got the maniology nail stamping starter kit, so it's just 2 plates and 2 polishes and I've used another polish that I got from target and it worked well too, I'll try to work faster. And I've heard before that if the plates are cold that that could make a difference somehow? Is that true? Thank you for getting back to me!
I am really struggling to get mine to pick up at all. Tried with a maniology and a pueen stamper. It picks up some but not the full image usually. Mine also seem pretty thin, I've seen some say they are all one coaters.
It may be the image? Is it small and detailed? I had a hard time picking up smaller images. It would pick up after several tries. Sometimes changing the way you place the polish (vertical VS horizontal) helps. Rolling the stamper seems to be the best way. But because these are thinner, and not stamping polishes, they may not work on every image 😔
@@AlwaysPolished Thank you so much for your response! My apartment is typically around 75-80 degrees F, so I don't think cold temp/blowing air is my issue. Maybe I just have to double-time it more.... I'm using the jelly stamper from Maniology that comes with their subscription box with your first order. Thank you again!
I've had trouble using that stamper. Are you rolling the stamper over the image, or going up and down? I find rolling, like I do in my videos works best. Also, it may be your image. After I did this video I tried more detailed images and had trouble. Thin lines may not pick up with this polish.
@@AlwaysPolished interesting. Again, thank you for your reply! I've tried it both ways (rolling and up/down) and with different images, and it just won't pick up barely at all for me, regardless of what I try. So perhaps it is the stamper and the amount of time I'm taking to stamp the image? To be determined, I guess. I'll keep playing around with it. :)
Came here to see if there were helpful stamping tricks because I cannot get these polishes to work for stamping at all. I have tried light pressure, heavy pressure, everything, but they won't pick up at all for me. How did you manage to make it work at all?
I can help! What is your level of stamping? Beginner, Novice, Expert? Make sure to shake the polish well. No need to worry about bubbles when stamping. You don't need to put as much polish as I did, but be careful to cover the entire are you put the line of polish (does that make sense?) Try scraping lightly. Don't press too firmly on the stamp Make sure your room is not too cold, and that AC/a fan is not blowing on you. What stamper do you use? A clear round one is best. @@AlwaysPolished I'd say I'm intermediate level of stamping. I've done it a decent amount of times, but not quite patient enough to achieve pro level. I use a clear rectangular "ice cube" stamper, which is always cleaned with tape before every stamping attempt. Some of the attempts, I barely used any pressure at all when attempting to pick up the design, but nothing worked. And there was no fan or a/c and the room wasn't cold. But thanks for the tips!

@@AlwaysPolished Ah, as I mentioned in my initial comment, I have used every pressure: light to heavy and everything in between, so that wasn't the issue.
