- Memphians are frustrated about the lawlessness that has been running rampant. For months, WREG Investigators have been digging deeper to address your concerns and discuss possible solutions.
Quit letting these folks out with no bond and start keeping them in jail. so many of these folks have multiple cases going and have no business on the street.
Right repeat offenders somebody gotta use some backbones. The city is constantly getting slapped with lawsuits. Some shyt ain't right. No intervention programs in place while they're out on bond committing more crimes. It's weird. Dumb politicians 🙄

The poverty is created by our willingness to normalize poor decision making. We create new terms that get normalized like baby mommy and baby daddy instead of understanding the long-term negative ramifications of kids not knowing their families and being forced to live in poverty which in turn creates gangs participation, hustling mindset, guns, and violence for the boys and more broken families created by the young girls.
A family is not a 23 year old woman with 4 kids by 4 different men. Fix the broken family issue, by focusing on education and skill development, stop embracing living off the government, value work, commit to teaching our children good morals and values, and totally embraced that there is no way forward without having a family dynamic where Love, Structure and Discipline are embraced by all parties.

Well said, it's kinda similar where I'm from, my whole neighborhood was full of single mother households in bad financial situations but people continued to have kids it was the craziest thing to see. Like ya don't see how wrong this is. It was one of many reasons that completely ruined my view on having children.
The state can handle it but they won't look at how many high profile cases Memphis has and how many of them they let out on bond

This is a huge point that I don’t think anyone is really speaking to. There is nothing to do in Memphis, especially if you’re poor. Where are kids supposed to go? What are young adults supposed to do? What do they have to look forward to?
