The drivers salaries are completely dependant on the team owner. If the owner doesn't want to pay them as much as he use to, that's on him, not NASCAR or the sponsors. Rick Hendrick has $3.2 billion dollars in the bank and wants NASCAR to pay for a raise to the drivers that drive for him. Kyle Larson should ask ultra wealthy Rick Hendrick for a raise, not NASCAR.
@@dennissciame Kyle Busch got $14 million per year. Do you mean that kind of salary? Every single Cup driver that races every race makes AT LEAST $1,000,000 per year. Dale Jr is worth over $150 million. How much is that per year? Drivers are employees of the teams they drive for. If you want a raise, ask your boss. NFL players are paid by their teams, NOT the NFL. @@BwInNewJersey You are absolutely correct. The teams' income increased when NASCAR decided to share the profits of tv rights with the teams. He was talking about professional athletes dude...not the average blue collar like us sir...if you had his talent you be where he is on the track not on couch watching it on tv
He was claiming how drivers pay years ago, as a percentage was higher back then. Compared to drivers pay as a percentage, now.
Basketball players $60 mil. a year, not really a dangerous profession
He was just comparing to other sports
It seems like whoever the truck series puts in the booth they continually make stupid comments. It must be the producers rather than the commentators.
Entertaining?! Are you serious?!
Join the crowd Denny.
Someone needs to explain to Kyle Larson that less people are attending and watching NASCAR races, so drivers are going to make less money. I remember when Kyle was complaining about getting paid more for autograph sessions at dirt tracks, than at NASCAR tracks.
He made a comment responding to a question what's your point...so stupid on your part
Some people need to learn that drivers are not paid by attendance but by the sponsors on their car. Tracks get the attendance money.
@@hawghead4596 some people need to learn team owners and sponsors aren't going to pay drivers more when less people are seeing their business name on the racecars. Why pay more, when you are getting less return on your investment.
Everyone wants to change restrictor plate racing. Yes, it isn't great racing, but having 1 or 2 guys on the lead lap & the majority of the field laps down wasn't all that fun either.
The "great" 1979 Daytona race had 6 cars on the lead lap and only 3 more 1 down.
Does that sound like a good race?
Agree with you.
Watch NASCAR If you like watching a 200mph parking lot/traffic jam. That's not EVEN racing. It's communism. No car is allowed to be better than another. It's as exciting as watching a game of dice.
Then go away why are you here
If you think that NASCAR is putting on a good product you're a moron. I've been watching since 1970 and this is the worst product since. So bad I forgot about the race. Me and about fifty million others.
Cry harder
Agreed. Stock car racing used to be manufactures building different to go faster and beat the other manufacturers. Today, identical cars that can’t pass. I don’t watch races anymore. I’ll peak at the highlights.
Don't you enjoy seeing cars running at 75% either ? It's especially great in the Daytona 500. The Crew Chiefs are a BIG part of the problem. I wish they could space Quickie Yellow Stages in a way to make mileage racing impossible.
Being a Hendricks man and Larson Fan I was so nervous the whole race and super pumped about JOE-WILLIE advanced on points and Elliott and Bowman are above the Cutline and do well at the roval Bowman has top 10 finishes at roval and Chase has won feel real good about all 4 making it thru to next round
Turex should let Creed drive the car.
I’ve grown tired of the lame tv broadcast commentators. Put Dave Moody in the booth and let him call the race and make it exciting.
just what nascar wants all the cars wrecked !!!!! but they failed still had cars running they need to get it right the next time and have 0 cars running but what a great demolition derby it was good for laughs
I couldn't even watch the Sunday race on Peacock here in Salt Lake. Even on antenna, the local government... errr... CHURCH was broadcasting their Semi Annual Conference dominating the local NBC station which is also owned by the government... errr CHURCH. 😢
Nowhere on Peacock could i find it.
In three words… ‘dega race sucked
well done show.
Its a restricter race what do you expect. Where's the damn good news? Forget these upity clowns you don't like him or his actions fire him. Talk is cheap.
Stop nick picking maybe u should get ur TV stations
This is very funny. I never win anything. This completely took me by surprise.
How do I get ahold of you. ?
Congrats! Send an email to kyle@beatingandbanging.com.
FIRE BUBBA
Denny got out of line and was going straight to the back. Wallace opened up a spot for him to slot in instead of falling to the back. What could Denny be crying about exactly?
Yup I don’t understand it either Denny finished in the top 10 so did Bubba!
He was upset at the end of the race on the final lap and a move Wallace made. Not the early one where Hamlin fell back.
@@BeatingandBanging Ya what Im saying is Bubba looks out for Denny on the track all the time. It doesn’t look like Denny notices or appreciates the positives Bubba does.
Can't understand why no one went with Kyle busch on last lap. No one wants to try to win. They all would rather ride in line. And I don't know why Austin didn't line up behind Busch in the last restart and both try to work together.
@@hypnoticCallsGems I noticed that too.
@@michaelrunnels7660 I think Kyle was just comparing with the other sports where football players get 5 million for 3 year contract
NASCAR gives tens of millions of dollars to every full time team racing. Too bad they give that money to the team owners and not the drivers. Kyle Larson says those hundreds of millions of dollars NASCAR gives the teams is not getting to the drivers. Blame the owners for being so cheap.
He was ask a question and he answered
It doesn’t matter how much Rick Hendricks is worth. Salaries are based on the income of the business at hand. Thats how businesses work. Genius.
@@BwInNewJersey You are absolutely correct. The teams' income increased when NASCAR decided to share the profits of tv rights with the teams. NASCAR gives the teams a share of their profit and that increased the income for the teams by quite a bit. Why are the teams not paying their drivers as much if they are getting more money as a result of the charter system?
Sheldon Creed makes nothing.
track is a joke...demo derby year after year
I fault Chase Briscoe for the big one. He kept hitting and pushing Burton into Lagono, which caused the chain reaction and the massive crash.
Super speedways should not be a playoff race. That four wide racing made me nervous.
Can handle foxes inability to record the event......hate listening to nbc......is their a middle of the road.........maybe over dubb MRN?
Give me Moody n Bagman!
Denny "ABSOLUTE" HACKlin (aka The Fool)
Gotta wonder if Ricky's grinning inside knowing he got back to victory lane before Kyle did. :P
Seriously though, this is one of best seasons in Cup in a long time.
Repairable cars should be towed by running order, not randomly. Keslowski should be ashamed of himself. He's insane.
One suggestion. Never once could I understand what they say on the radio. Hearing loss. Can't you just quote them?
Childress is full of it. Everybody has employees, contracts , sponsor contracts. He had a choice and he folded.
Fox is terrible and woke. 2:26
Don't give Stenhouse credit for being so slow and stupid to not react in time to wipe himself out in the 'big one'.
Dumb luck
the whole thing is a mess. drop overtime or at least go to single file restarts, i had a lot more written but it disappeared when I criticized NASCAR.
BullShit
Talladega is always a shit show, get rid of it.
aaacx
47 car should have been DQ'd due to the damage to his car. "DVP"
6 and 17 cars was missing their roof fins after the race.
DQ the winner for a scratch in the door ? That would be REAL STUPID. 🙄
I'm sorry but do these drivers really need to make more than like $200k/yr??
@@Just_a_beaver That's a topic for another argument. I say yes.
I’m sorry do you get to decide what anyone else’s salary should be? Communist? Socialist?
They should be paid a fair portion based on their performance and the income of the team and the sport.
@@BwInNewJersey Wow, you give me that much credit? Stop doubting yourself and playing victim. I love victims.
@@JJj-sb5pz who was talking to you?
@BwInNewJersey Who do you think? I'm talking to you. You're a real smart guy, I can tell. Don't cry if you're broke. 200k ain't sh*t. Like, really??? Maybe I missed your point. Sorry bro.
Kyle Bush is 100% correct danny Hamas is set up for himself. Junior has said it before himself NASCAR is not NASCAR anymore. NASCAR is not racing anymore. It’s a strategy game. It’s not a race anymore. I hate these changes. I hate these rules. Let people settle up, however they want here’s your guidelines. You have to stay within these guidelines to be allowed to be slow you could be anywhere in the middle. You cannot go outside of these parameters but you can play within the parameters and let the guys set the cars like they used to the 80s and 90s and early 2000s let them race go back to five lug nuts, go back to wedge adjustments camber adjustments all that stuff let the teams set their cars up the way they feel they need to be set up and then let them make adjustments throughout. Get the pit crew the crew chief let them do their jobs. let them do what they’re paid to do and then pay them more.
