Hi Tom! Now that you mentioned that I see. I cannot figure out what happened since it was not a problem before. I did not change anything from previous demos. (I had no issues with them) The only thing I can think of is that I updated a few of the programs I use to make the videos. Maybe the updates reset my custom adjustments? I will have to look. Here is my big question to you - do you think the demos would be better without the inset all together? I have seen others with insets but I am not sure if there is a "value added" to any of the videos since it is a digital demo. It seems to me that a screen capture is all you need? Much different that trying to demo traditional painting. What do you think? Thanks for your feed back! Tom G.
Hi Ken Morris! Thanks a bunch for the kind words, again! Here's the thing, if you have R5 now ( hurry if you don't - $10.00 bucks) you might be able to retouch your own auto photos. This way you can retouch them the way you want. Take a good look at the video below and see what you think. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. By the way I am more worried about the Steelers! LOL Tom G. ruclips.net/video/aFSIHKC35iw/видео.html
Thank you. Really complex right now for me at this early point. I am fussing something and this might sound strange but here goes. I made a set of three tree stencils and they mimic a HDR layer set. I placed a grid guide down and set snap to guide on but they wint snap so lining these up is quite hard. Do you know a way to line these. Making the painting the same size as the stencil isnt an option as the stencil is just one component of the total painting. I sure hope you know the answer because I read the manual and it said objects can be snapped to grid or guide. Maybe a stencil wont snap .
Hi Mark, I do not use stencils much at all but there may be a couple of hack ways to line up your stencils. (If that is what you are trying to do?) Start by clicking ON the Lock Ratio in the menu of your stencil. (The hamburger at the bottom right of the stencil controls) If you are working with stencils I don't know if snapping to a guide will be your solution. I think your biggest problem would be to expand all three stencils to the exact same size. If you lock the ratio then you may be able to stack the "registered stencils" one atop the other perfectly aligned. Also in that same menu click on Lock to lock its position. The challenge with stencils is that they enlarge all four sides at once. If they only enlarge in the direction that you moved the cursor then that would be quite different. Meaning that for example you could line up the lower left corner then expand until you matched the upper right corner! This is digital and there are many ways of getting the same results. Tom G.
@@TheArtofTomGallovich I got the stencil thing figured out. Thank you for all of your personal replies and detailed information you have shared with me. I sent an email to Veronika and gave you some brownie points for your help.
@@Megzamani Hey Mark thanks a bunch for the kind words. Also the good word to Veronika. Just to let you know I am in the process of setting up my drawing table for video. I want to go back to traditional so I can do both. Future demos will be with traditional watercolors and digital watercolors. I will also do demos comparing the two together. On top of that I have some traditional acrylic paintings planned. Thanks again! Tom G.
@@TheArtofTomGallovich What I am doing is on some of my traditional paintings that are unfinished or even finished is imaging them and then importing them to rb6p and working on them some. I also have flamepainter i want to add some lighting effects to a few. I started doing pastel in late fall and have a few in process that before finishing them i can image and bring into rebelle to complete. That is a really great way to work on things. I also brought some of my artrage ones into rebelle6 to make a few changes. One time i had corel painter but did not renew so that one is a good one to import and work on.
Hi Tom. Love the lesson. However, RUclips is killing the continuity with all the commercial breaks. I know the bills need to get paid, but the frequency of the ads is really annoying.
Hi Chuck DeFiore, from what I can see the ads are on or off. I don't think I have the ability to control how many or how often the ads show up. Do you think paid tutorials would be a better option? Some free and the more involved demos could be paid? This way they would be uninterrupted and eliminate most of the ads. Right now I have full plans to create demos using traditional watercolors and acrylics. This would be getting back to my roots and having the opportunity to compare traditional and digital side by side. Whats your thoughts? Tom G.
Love the work, love the tutorials! Thank You!
BTW, the voice/sound is off sync with the video, but it's only hard to watch when you're off the canvas/screen view (full face).
Thank You Very Much Tom Gerds!
