I found it very interesting how you verbally communicated the “diverse culture” that Jax offers…. Basically there’s a lot of brown/black people 😊 Great Video!

As someone from Jax...definitely go with Tampa. Personally, I say Orlando, since I'm not a beach guy, but I you want an international progressive & and fast-paced life go with Central FL. Jax is just a big town that's crazy spread out. I will say that St John's & Clay are great school districts & safe/far from the violence around Duval. (Jax & Miami consistently battle for the top spot in FL as the most violent city each year). But like you said it's all about where you're at in life and where your personal ideals are. Personally I'm not a big fan of "red cities" with nothing but burbs, work, and home to look forward to, to each their own. Sidenote: As a Duval Native...I've never heard of anyone suggest hiking in FL or anywhere south of Atlanta that made me chuckle 😂.
Not sure why you would chuckle at hiking south of Atlanta. There are wonderful hikes of all sizes in the Ocala National Forest, Everglades National Park, The Florida Trail, Apalachicola National Forest, myriad and plentiful beautiful state parks...to scratch the surface. Better in the Winter I suppose!
@@landlinesandpercolators8822 to me if there’s no elevation then it’s not a hike. Florida & South GA are just too flat to justify as hiking destinations. Swamps, Spanish moss trees, & hidden aquifers on a hot humid Florida day doesn’t scream “hiking culture”. It’s more like “let’s see a gator or hide the bodies vibes”.But that’s just me. 😂
@@misteriknow2069 To each their own of course! Notwithstanding the distinctions of what constitutes hiking, I will wrap up by saying I find incredible natural beauty in the swamps, forests, and springs of Florida - particularly in the central to northern region. Again, preferred time is October to Mayish!
Orlando is super hot, no ocean breeze and leftist politics. Leftist politics are an auto DQ for city preferences. They’re all being destroyed by the terrible politics.
As someone who has lived in multiple parts of Tampa and Jacksonville, I COMPLETELY disagree on the Foodie scene. Jacksonville foodie scene is WAY better! Restaurant Orsey, Avondale restaurants, Jax beach… so many local spots! Tampa is chain city! Would not recommend Tampa to foodies!!
Thanks! There’s a national shortage of PCPs and just because Jacksonville has a few good medical facilities, it doesn’t mean PCPs are accepting new patients. With such a huge land mass, it makes sense to live in the neighborhood with good grocery stores and medical facilities. I’ve learned it can take 30-45 minutes from one neighborhood to the other. So far St. John County, Downtown , Riverside and Jax Beach are the best areas and unfortunately the most expensive. It seems like there’s no longer affordable homes in metro Florida for the average home buyer-smh…
Tampa hasn’t been directly hit by a hurricane in like 100 years. I lived there 10 years and anytime one was heading our way which wasn’t often, it usually changed direction before it got to us and we just got some rain and wind.

Thanks for watching & your comments. When you have little ones walking the trails of the Guana Preserves is considered hiking👍

Don’t forget tampas proximity to orlando . A little over an hr away. Tampa also has a port. Cruises actually go in and out right from downtown.
This was actually a great video with little to no bias. Thank you.

Appreciate your perspective. Restaurant Orsey is on my top 5 Best Restaurants in Jax video😊
The food in jax is terrible tbh. I e tried all these spots
Apples and oranges. Tampa is on the best west coast, while Jax is the biggest town to live in.😉

Howdy from ATX!
Jacksonville and Tallahassee are the best cities to live in in Florida
Find ok, I chose Jacksonville
Interesting content. Criticism: Background music is irritating and adds nothing to the content.
Thanks for the feedback.
Probably not the best choice for music. Not a bad video though, good job!

I’m from Michigan and drive to Jax Tampa St Pete. What a shit hole traffic mess around Tampa. No way in hell. Over populated. Jax much better.
