  • In this video we have the Ahorn Canada TE Plus which boasts a rear lounge. The Ahorn Canada series of motorhomes from Ahorn starts at a price from around EUR54k making it somewhat economic. This vehicle is under seven metres, 237cm in width and based on the Renault Master platform.
The Canada series is characterized by its beige exterior wall paint. Here emphasis was placed on elegance, a high level of comfort and the most advanced technology. All Canada vehicles have Polivision framed windows, GRP floor, walls and roof, Thetford toilet and refrigerator, Truma gas heating and Heki roof hatches as standard.
The Canada series includes three alcoves and two semi-integrated models. Both semi-integrated models can be ordered with or without a fold-down bed. As of this season, all Canadas have had a new interior design that includes components from the quality manufacturer Tecnoform and Blum hinges. A new electronic system has been used that allows all dimmable LED lights to be controlled individually.
The table and kitchen top are made of a new lightweight material with a marble look. All flap handles are made of metal and optically integrated into the furniture. All seat cushions and mattresses have been revised and reinforced.
The semi-integrated models of the Canada series are designed in such a way that they bring maximum dynamics with the largest possible interior space. For this purpose, a curvature was developed that has the lowest CW values and yet makes it possible that no headroom is lost with the integrated electric fold-down bed from the market leader Project 2000.
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my RUclips channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Ahorn, Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Benimar, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

I feel like this video was made for me 😉 Rear lounge with drop down bed is exactly what I'm after, except... delete the middle bed and dinette and make a bigger kitchen and shorten the vehicle. 😉

Thanks for the tour! Interesting van at a good price point, not keen on the brown and mock marble though. As a couple, with bikes, during COVID and brexit, and a smaller sized driveway at home, I still prefer a shorter van, fixed twin beds, and a big garage. I’d rather not have any drop down beds either, so we could enjoy the skylight over the cab/seating area. 👍

Getaway to where? Is anywhere still open?
The government revels in closing everything, it's getting difficult to find anywhere to stay overnight now in the UK. All for a novel flu that went away in June.
Where in the UK are campsites still open? Please help!

As Anni is in Texas, she is scarcely going to know!
I am glad to know it went away in June, presumably the ambulance people who took my mother's neighbour to hospital for Covid gave a wrong diagnosis.

@@VanlifewithAlan The CDC say that only 6% of 'covid deaths' are without co-morbidities. I've personally met a number of people who had to fight to get CV19 removed from cancer and other deaths. Also by the time someone tests for Covid on the wildly inaccurate PCR test, it's too late to put down the death as influenza.
Why do you think influenza has suddenly disappeared this year? They've been trying to prevent it for decades (without Vitamin D, as that's free), you think influenza suddenly gave up? ;))
But don't believe me, listen to someone way more qualified than us both, on TalkRadio.

@@G-ra-ha-m Thank you for your komment. Sorry there are lockdowns in most beautiful parts of the world. Here there is talk about lockdowns too. One kan dream of being away from home, but sometimes that doesn't happen. I know that from experience. I was to go to work in Austin,Texas,, somebody did a krash and sped off, I was left with no kar, no job, then covid happened. @@annic7995 One of the most beautiful, Northern Ireland, is now looking at a 6 week lockdown, starting on Boxing day. The politicians show us pictures of ambulances queuing up, lack of space, busy hospital.
But when a normal Irish woman visits the same hospital, around the same time, she find's what I see in england: empty hospitals.
      overdeewall.com/
Play the video full screen or it cuts off the top. Her experience is the same as mine: when you actually check the hospitals, there is no problem. In Addenbrookes this week, I could barely find any non staff people.
The WHO says not to use lockdowns, the data shows that lockdowns don't help, but the government is so keen to use them (repeatedly: if they fail, they are useless, if they work, only 1 is needed - see ruclips.net/video/3cjgicrA504/видео.html), people are starting to realise that the lockdown has first priority, and the excuse for it, 2nd, and our health and happiness, 3rd.
Sorry to hear about your car, I hope you get that resolved somehow.

As Yvonne says, when space is at a premium why on earth have a separate eating area. I would rather the space was given over to the galley area or better still the toilet/shower room.

I do like these drop down beds, but the companies need to start being inovative on how to use the new space. Not just adding more and more seating and lounge areas. You have about 10 different seats to choose from in that van 🤣

There are a number of models such as Rimor which make something like this. If I could give you a suggestion Mark, check that you are happy with the head height in the rear lounge before you buy. I don't know the Elddis model but in most, one cannot stand up very well.

Not to detract from your good effort of speaking Italian but the Italian RV market is at a ratio of probably 1 to 50 with some other country (Germany springs to mind).
