I know what you mean about the love/hate relationship with Oldham. I really like going into Oldham although I must admit, there’s not that many shops there that I want but all my fave discount shops are there plus Sainsbury’s and the library and Art Gallery so it’s still worth a trip up. I feel really safe walking around Oldham but I know lots of people who refuse to go now and I just don’t understand it. Let’s hope the regeneration plans for the town will include some much needed shops to entice people back 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I will consider this a birthday gift to me, because I so love your out-and-about vlogs of old : ) Such a variety of interesting improvements done in your hometown, and such conveniently located shops to be found there. It's always nice for me, as a rust belter, to see an old industrial hub remake itself. This looked like a successful errand run; ThanksForPosting!
I was born and grew up there, was nice to see the areas you showed Paul. I remember when they made that bus station that was by the side of the old town hall which looks like it's a pedestrian area now. I used to go to a small museum on a side road off Union St, don't know if that is still there. Some of the foods looked interesting, those ice creams were a bargain.

I went on google maps to check out the street views. And pop back and forth. I love a place that still has some history and some trees not torn down every 20 years.
This is like me when i say im going to try eating more healthy, then i go buy 2 boxes of pasties and 3 tubs of icecream.
I think Iceland has an awesome selection! I love that Doner meat stuff! It’s amazing to be able to make a proper kebab again, lol
Have you seen the digestive creams in home bargains? They’re vegan and 4 packs for £1 🙌🏻 they also do a chocolate orange variety.
Really enjoyed this vlog and interesting to see how much Vegan food is around now. Love that you love your hometown. I’m from Portsmouth and it’s not perfect but I will always love it too x
I've got to admit I've always not gone to those places cos I thought they didn't do vegan food but they clearly which is great so I'll definitely look next time I pass those shops. Cheers Paul!
How amazing are the mariland cookies! We went to Blackpool lights at the weekend and my mum made a picnic for our family and joined us. She packed a pack of them and I pretty much devoured the pack in a day 😂

The best vegan sausage roll I’ve tried is Holland’s (I hate pork). I’m not vegan, but I’m trying to eat more meat substitutes
Paul that approach and oaty ice cream is fab I get most of my vegan stuff at Iceland or tesco but loved the vlog x
