RIT had dye specifically for synthetic materials. Also, they have a tool on the I site that shows you how to combine the dye colors to make new colors. It takes the guess work out of it.

You can always make a spray bottle of the die and that will give a easy idea of how dark you want it

i used like four bottles on the carpet in my ek. Needs to be done again,it almost looks dark green atm
Rit dye has a product called "color stay dye fixative" to help keep the dye from fading. I did my ek hatch carpet black and didn't use it, and it's faded kinda greenish/black in the harsh Georgia sun. Looks like I'll be doing it again 🤦🏼♂️

Hi, hopefully this reaches out to the right person. Basically i have a d14a1 dual carb ef hatchback which im thinking about swapping to b16a2. I was thinking about swapping out every single bit of wireing in my ef to the ek wires, so fuse box, lights and etc to maybe make the swap easier. This way i dont have to do the obd0 to obd1 conversion or anything other than maybe extend some wires. Let me know if this is worth it or not, i might just be too uninformed about this stuff and its impossible to do 🤷♀️
