Edukacija buvo nufilmuota industrinėje „LinkMenų fabriko“ erdvėje, kur režisūrinius akcentus sudėliojo Juozas Bobina, o vizualinius sprendimus kūrybinei komandai rasti padėjo dalinininkas Vitalijus Čepkauskas.

Saulius Petreikis is an internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, composer and performer. The instruments of Old is a 30 min. documentary for the whole family. This short film explores over 20 instruments from all over the world. The artist dives deep not only in the sounds of the instruments, but also explains their connotations in tradition and importance in the daily life of the ancestors. Saulius is accompanied by fellow musicians and dance performances. While the film uses a contemporary, minimal aesthetic it is filled with attention catching details and movement. The production is composed of not only short excerpts of each of the instruments, but also with complete songs. One of the aims of this beautifully shot documentary is for the young ones to find an instrument they love and to pursue its wonderful sounds. The film is best enjoyed with the entire family.

Dūdmaišis
Instrumentą sudaro maišas, pasiūtas iš gyvulio odos, į jį įmontuotas pūstukas ir dvi birbynės (viena - melodijai išgauti, antra - pritariančioji vienu tonu). Dūdmaišis buvo paplitęs Rytų Lietuvoje. Istoriniuose šaltiniuose minimi profesionalūs muzikantai, vedžiodavę dresuotas meškas, kurios šokdavę pagal dūdmaišio muziką. Profesionalūs dūdmaišininkai - klajojantys muzikantai Rytų Lietuvoje susirinkdavo į sueigas, į kuriose dalyvaudavo iki 200 muzikantų. Dūdmaišiais muzikuodavo ir sėslūs žemdirbiai. Būdavo grojamos dainos, šokių muzika.

This traditional Lithuanian musical instrument consists of a few different parts. The body of dūda - is a large bag made of animal skin. Inside this bag are three more parts: a whistle and two birbynės (first one is for producing a melody and the second one for a one tone play along). Bagpipes were very popular in the Eastern Lithuania. Some historical sources reveal information about professional musicians who would walk around with tamed bears dancing to the bagpipe music. Professional bagpipers - nomad musicians - would gather in the Eastern Lithuania to participate in special festivities with their numbers reaching up to 200 people. Although bagpipes not only attracted nomads - settled farmers would also enjoy this instrument by playing songs and dance music.
