We just transitioned our almost 11 month old to his convertible car seat (Graco 4ever dlx) but his chin looks tucked in a bit too much when using the infant insert cushions that the seat came with. Probably just take out the head insert. Once a child can sit unassisted, there's no need to stress as long as the child is harnessed properly and the car seat is installed correctly.
