Such a beautiful old hymn!!! Sure am looking forward to the day I will join my family members there and see Jesus face to face---I can't even imagine it--but I know I will--oh how wonderful that day will be!!!!
There are so many lost or forgotten hymns with amazing messages. I am amazed at the skill of the writers, who knew where to put certain harmony and inflection within a song to enhance the meaning and emotion. This is a true work of art. Let’s prepare for a better life and meditate in His Word.

Thank-you for your kind words! A short story of how this began: Our family used to gather and sing together frequently when I was young. My dad would sing tenor, my mom sang alto, my sister would sing soprano, and I would sing bass because I always had a low voice. Those days are now gone, and I lost my dad 4 years ago, and my mom has dementia, so this, to me, is how I bring those days back and praise my God for those days. I hope to get better as I continue. Stay tuned!
