You'd think that with as much money and effort as MSI's sunk into this "Project Zero" idea thet'd re-route the RGB / Pump for cable for their AiO to come off the rad and not the pump, make it easier to hide.
Actually, not MSI but some other manufacturers are prototyping AIOs that could hide those cables (and possibly even the tubing as well) so you cannot see cables at all
i dont know how i feel about zero cables in the front, as sff pc user i have to hold judgement till i see how this works for mitx, beautiful build awesome video guys
Random comment: I watched your NV5 build video. Bc of your review on the NV5, I loved it. Bought it. Rebuilt in it. & now I'm commenting on this video on my PC... built in the NV5 😂
One of the best review video I’ve watched, case fully shown and the building process, as well as not being 100% serious which helps keep people’s attention and adds some laughs.
To have just named these cases the Zero- A, Zero- B, etc or numerically Zero 1 , Zero 2 and so on, it would have saved loads of print and stayed in theme with the series of mobo/case. Our youngest son was using a GameMax inifinity that I wasn't happy with (quality was a piss take regardless how good it looked) so we replaced it with a Montech king 95 originally and settled for the Pano. It is awesome and amazing quality that our 6 year old has not bashed in yet. Sturdy, solid, easy to build in, easy on the eye and achieves the minimal/no cable look very well. Cheers for the content.
I have one of these but removed the whole fans setup and replaced with Corsair. I’ve not had a new computer for 10 years and find it very difficult to get the cpu temperature down. Intel i7 14700k. The space at the back is that tight that the multi pin USB extender cable had to be heated up and bent to fit.
For a case designed to hide cables from the front, it doesn't let you hide them neatly in the back. Looks like Cathulu is rising in the back of the case.
Nick, ur reviews are excellent! I subscribe to other similar RUclipsrs as well, however very few go into the detail as you do with your reviews. I appreciate your attention to detail & product knowledge you share. Thank you, keep up the great work (I do enjoy ur music 🎶 too) 🔥
Like the Idea but not the case as it has to many problems with the airflow as you have 2 sets of holes for front intake with holes on the fan bracket (Why) and the rest are small holes but either not enough or to far apart.
These things seem more like a way of locking you into having to buy MSI boards and cases at a premium, than really solving something that's a big problem - that's my take anyway.
@@martyplaysgames so by your standards, companies should never create new tech because it hasn't yet been created and other brands may not work well with the newer way more improved tech. got it. super intelligent idea. 🙄🙄
Very nice case, in fact the only case from MSI I would look at buying and seeing as I haven't got a Matx Board it wouldn't be an issue to but one - and I only buy MSI Motherboards anyway. But, 4 non-PWM Fans - what a waste - I would have to chuck all of them in the bin - seriously, bad idea!!! Plus the USB-C Plug...?????? WHY!!!? So those 2 things would make me walk away - paying all that money to chuck away a sizeable chunk of it - Crazy! Too bad - So sad!
Yeap! No filters on the right side. And I don't understand how to remove bottom filter. It looks like nylon magnetic frame, but should I lift up case for cleaning?
If you wanna build your PC with some hot CPU, and some mid/high tier GPU, FORGET about this case! I'm sorry to tell, but this case is so stupidly build in terms of inside aero dynamics that it will work only with some low tier CPU and GPU, something not very hot, thats it. If you want case in this format, so go only for those that are dual chamber, where the PSU is behind the mobo, so you can mount at the bottom of the case the 2/3 necessary fans for proper aero dynamics and cooling, otherwise there is no point in those side fans without the bottom fans. You want the side fans in your case - Only dual chamber with bottom fans. You don't want dual chamber case - So only cases with front fans and not the side fans, with no need in bottom fans. Thats it, this is very simple.
the fans being DC instead of PWM in 2023 is so crazy, they spent the money to make them reverse flow but then they made them DC, so crazy and laughable
So instead of cables we get a big PROJECT ZERO logo on the motherboard. Ill take the cables. Love the idea MSI but not a fan of your branding in my face.
The two things i stay away from personaly is AMD and white builds. Not a great fan of either but the customer gets what the customer wants. Just not for me sorry.
It's a Cheap copy of the original case from SEMA 4503 this one is just worse lmao. Not that SEMA Cases are super high quality, but this one has worse layout than the SEMA 4503
Absolutely not... I'm not supporting this whole plugs on the back system. You're getting into proprietary territory and I don't support that. Standard form factor is where we need to be.
@@GearSeekers Yeah sure. Tell me about it. 90 degrees airflow is better than 0 degrees airflow i guess. Bernouli should reconsider according to Gear Seekers. That is how trends work for sure.
I like how you low-key gas light MSI for their flaws using a softer tone LOL, Mostly about how they are trying to save budget when they are literally already a multi billion dollar company. Sign... Why create products that has flaws when you have the capacity to do the best and keep improving from that. Capitalism sucks.

I couldn't agree more!
msi usually put their brand on OEM products with minimal effort just like this one
And also not just copy HYTE's Y60 design just like NZXT has. Jesus
Actually, not MSI but some other manufacturers are prototyping AIOs that could hide those cables (and possibly even the tubing as well) so you cannot see cables at all
@@Cythrawl102 At least NZXT put the corner on the other side...
I *REALLY* hope rear-facing board IO becomes the norm. It's *so* clean and IMO more accessible in the right case.
I agree, it's looks beautiful.
Was MSI also put color on their wire connectors to be sure they were actually plugged in?.

The other true dual chamber version of this case is the true beast! Almost perfect in fact.
MSI try not to create a long, confusing name for their products challenge: impossible
Banger of a video fams, keep up the hard work
They should've made the back space deeper. Would help a lot with cable clearance and would've accommodated mounting a radiator at the side.
At that price for the case the NV5 is a better option.
I just freaking bought the h6 flow and now msi comes out with this? Haiiizzzz will wait for a black version... Nice vid btw keep it up mate!
You and Klaire create art! Love the music!
Thank you! Nick is the video and music king here!

😂😂😂
You forgot about reverse blade fans, so we don't have to put the ugly X part of the fan as the air intake/exhaust.
Love the MATX case content. Will you be reviewing anymore soon? Can I suggest the Q300L V2? New take on a really old case, but not many reviews.
wow so many cases are starting to look alike im sorry after seeing the king 95 from montech all others fail
Fish tank style is a type all its own now.
Lol yeah that's true
I still think the phanteks nv5 is a great case imo
Excellent video fams!
This new motherboard trend is so exciting, and I can't wait to see the concept more widely adopted!
where is the pc partpicker list?
I hope this becomes a new standard of having all the connectors on the rear
For an mATX case that thing is huge. EDIT: Does the magnetic GPU support thing come with the case?
I want to add a 3.5 hdd to this. Do you need any extra mounting brackets or do you just screw it into that back panel?
Cool looks, however the GPU power cable ruins the overall 'wire-free' idea.
the case looks so sick man. I bought montech sky two which quite similar to this.
One missing feature is motherboard powered GPU slot so that we wouldn't need GPU power cable too. Only then it can be perfect.
asus got that already but it is really hard to push all mobo manufacturers to do it

MSI should've made a GPU to go with this too. They should've gone for full stealth. This is half done.
wow couldnt be much cleaner, couldve worked on that aio wiring a little more but damn thats nice
Really like this case, will a msi 4090 fit in it..? worried it may be to close to the psu shroud and not get enough airflow
right-angled usb-c connector now comes with case in box
When are all these stealth motherboard dropping I need them like yesterday
At 18 deg C room temperature that‘s not really a 'worst case scenario' you‘re testing in. Ask those guys playing at 30+ temps in summer.
parts?
Can you add the parts picker list please!
What the hell is zed?
Soon as you said "Lian Li reached out" I thought dang theyre suing MSI now.
Should the aio be exhaust or intake?

You can put any board you like in the case
@@GearSeekers sure, but you need this case if you want the mobo. There are no standards for rear mount connectors AFAIK.

The biggest matx case I ever seen 😂
Project Zero (Cables) with that ugly pump visible cable? DOA.

The rear wiring seems really convenient, I think it's a great idea. Next time I need to build a machine, I'll definitely consider it.
looks pretty cheap probably doesn't cost a lot either. msi really need to step up their peripheral game
Hello compatible with Liquid Freezer III 360 on TOP ?

I don't understand why they added all these weird angles to the case. Such a "heavy" design. It's a no for me unfortunately.
Not a fan of the look of that front. Looks kinda crooked and I really don't like that big chunk of plastic going out the front.
The case sucks...the motherboard is the star here.
That gpu leg is horrendous. Great improvement in cabling though.
Project Zero except the horrible AIO pipe and the horrible graphics power cable...I know unavoidable but still
PSU shrouds are so ugly in fake dual chamber 011 style cases. Exception being the Hyte Y40 and Phanteks NV5. Just make it a real dual chamber bro
