@@wnen8611 hell yeah 😎 my friend thinks the case looks stupid but i say it's unique and finally something that isn't boring lol, good luck on your build!
This video is so helpful, I want to do this build in the hydrangea blue tower 300, and I know "performance first" but the project zero board is the only board that wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb visually in my particular build.
Hi YuasBirds, I was very tempted to get the hydrangea blue case, love that color for sure! I'm happy you found this video helpful! I think the project zero boards do look cool....I know everybody says 'performance first' and I can't disagree and I get it. But for me personally, alot of the fun is making it look great! What that means to everybody is completely different of course. But the cool thing about diy building a PC is you get to do it your way, don't let anybody tell you different! Most importantly, learn as much as you can and have lots of fun with it! Good Luck, have fun and game on!!! Hydrangea Blue FTW! Thanks for watching!
Hi Retired_Medic, it sure is, isn't it. That's great, it still doesn't show on their product page for this motherboard, who knows why. But you are correct, it's showing on the compatable case list. Thanks for Watching!!!
@@HardwareArtisan I have mine half assembled with Windows 10 Pro loaded and I think you understated the difficulty of getting to the right underside connections on the board. It was a half hour of misery for me. You can't see and read the labels on bottom connectors on that side and you have to keep referencing the manual to know which one you need. If I had to do it again, and there are only 2 or 3 connections that most people need to use, I might have tried attaching them with the with the board loose and then screw it down to the standoffs. It's something I might try if I ever have to remove it. I still have to put in a triple Asiahorse RGB triple fan on the right. And I don't see where you tried to install a hard drive . The HDD will only go on one way, horizontally, with the connectors facing to the rear and it still smashes the power cable. I didn't have a power wire where the wires came out the top. That would have fit perfect. Now for cable management :) Thanks. I7 13700 CB23 29000.
@Retired_Medic , im glad you got it completed and fair enough about the difficulty on the right side..it was definitely something I was concerned about and as you stated I did attach them with the motherboard loose. But overall it wasn't as bad as I thought it could be. But, as you said...misery is within the scope of this project...thank you for the report. That's one vote for attaching cables before screwing down the motherboard! Overall, would you recommend anybody use Project Zero Boards on this case? Thanks for the awesome update!
Did this with the B760M Project zero. Went in easy. Only caveat is you need to connect case io connectors and maybe rgb or fam cables, prior to putting in the motherboard. Just connect and pull through as you place the board on the standoffs. Then you dont have to mess with that one side after the motherboard is screwed in.
Hi Kinaek, that's awesome! Glad to hear you had success with the B760M. Good tips on installation, that's how I did it. Thanks for the support and for watching!
@@Shouziroku no just the cable issue. You just need to plan ahead for which headers youre going to use down the gpu side and connect them prior to fastening the board down. In my build there was one cable I had to install on that side after the fact, it was tricky but doable. But other than that it all fits fine. Cable mgmt is a breeze too. Only cables visible are the usb and power for my AIO.
@@Kinaek I finally was able to fit it. It's a tight fit because there's a kind of metal lip on the mobo. And yeah I was afraid I would need to buy longer cables but luckily they were enough. Those connectors on the right side(seen from the back) are a pain though. I also had to turn the PSU upsidedown so that it intakes from the base of the case instead of working against the fans blowing air up.
I do like the idea of having more of the connections on the back but not all. Many AIOs have at least one set of wires coming off the pump from the block and would much rather plug that in to a nearby header instead of wrapping it all the way to the back. I do wish they would make them in just plain black as well.
Hi gscurd75, that's an excellent point that I hadn't considered since I used the Corsair iCUE link one with this. You are correct though, mose AIO's have a cable (or two) coming off of it that would ruin the effect a bit. Score one for iCUE link I guess, haha. I also agree, hopefully, if these become more popular we'll get some new looks. All great points, thanks for the support, and for watching!!!
Great explanation! But two more thing if we want to plug or unplug cables in motherboard how to do ? Also are antenna wifi in PZ fit with this case ? Thnks a lot 🙏
this combo works as expected. If you choose to connect cables down the left side last it is a bit fiddly, but doable. The erroneous TT comment was likely from some misinformed corporate.
I know it's probably not something that would interest a lot of people, but I'd like to have a size comparison vidéo on the 100, 200 and 300. I can see that you seem to have a 100 or a 200 behind you. I'd really like to see them side by side to see the size difference. Great video, as always. Makes me think about putting the exact same motherboard in a build.
Hi thorstenfautz4611, thanks for the feedback! You are correct, nothing is ever perfect, but it's a huge amount of fun to keep at it!!! Thanks for your support and for watching!!!
I love the looks of the tower 300 ! Yhe fact that it could work with a project zero MB is even better. Regarding those connections that are a pain to get to. , I figure just getting some short (50mm) stubbie cable extensions is a small price to pay to not have to worry about access them. Hmmm might need to get a can of paint , I want a blood red case , With the inserts and tops being black. Kinda odd TT doesn't offer this case in red .
HI tonydalimata, I agree, it's a great looking case and I though the same thing about buying some extensions for the rear facing project zero connection, but honestly it's not needed. It was easer to access than I though and with some care it's not hard. I love your idea about a blood red case that sounds cool for sure!!!! Let me know if you complete that! Thanks for watching!!!
I have the Black Version of the Tower 300 and I wish there would be a black Version of the Mainboard, so the Colours fit. I wonder why thbis Idea to connect Cables from the Back came earlier.
Hi 2810Mad, that's a great question. No, the AIO is not upside down. Although there are different opinions out there on how to orient an AIO. In this case, there really isn't any other option if you're using a 360mm AIO/RAD. You might get away with turning it the other way, but you would have to remove the power supply covers and drive mounting brackets and there may not be clearance next to the power supply as well. That, of course is with a 360mm AIO, if you use a 240mm turning it the other direction might be more doable. Either way, the hoses in the top position are fine and looks better in my opinion. The rule of thumb is as long as the PUMP is not the highest part of the loop it's all good. There are more ideal positions in other cases, but my personal opinion is, it doesn't really matter, I try to mount AIO's in the top if possible, but that's not possible here. If I can't do that, avoid putting the pump in the highest position and call it good. With the tower 300 mounted on the horizontal stand, it is possible to get the pump as the highest part of your loop, so take that into consideration if using the horizontal stand and orient it properly. In that case, the AIO is at the top position and works fine. So, build with confidence and put the hoses at the top and it's all good. However, you might find some disagreement out there, as with anything. Good luck, have fun and thanks for watching!!!
Hi Miserable5oul, for mounting a Project Zero Motherboard, it's exactly the same as mounting any mATX board. The standoffs in the case are in the same location. The case has the motherboard screws for you to use. Thanks for watching!!!

@@HardwareArtisan Aww bummer. I figured it may fit the main power cable and the CPU power if the holes lined up. But of course anything on the side aka bottom of the mother board area would probably be a challenge at best and need cutting at worst.
