I drove that road in early May and the snow banks were incredible....... love your clips. Safe trucking, from Canada.... My first trip in Norway I drove from Askoy to Voss, I counted 49 tunnels, one was 23 Kim's long. Amazing
Belle balade norvégienne, merci pour ce voyage. On a un peu la tête qui tourne a la lecture, à cause des virages sinueux sur les routes, mais rien de méchant, on a pas vomis. Merci pour ce sympathique voyage!
Some fine music to go with the trip - and a dynamic bit of vid editing. Quite some road conditions in a days driving! Driving out of a tunnel is weird - never know what's there.. Safe truckin bro
thats because norway actually is poor and under developed. our gouvernment rather give our money away to stop rich guys chopping the rainforrest down... as a result of this we have these kinds of roads. and generally bad infrastructure
Yeah you could say that again, Norway have measly 95000 km of total road network, and Sweden have over 500.000 KM. And still our roads hold an incredible low standard. To answer why the roads are narrow. Norway was one of poorest countries in Europe before 1970 and much of the road network was built in the 50's and 60's. Now we like to think we are so much richer, but like +Dan Stamnes writes, its all wasted on stuff that doesn't matter to Norwegian interests.
Some sarcasm must be allowed when you give away 1 billion usd to Brazils government without asking your 5 million people, and do the same to Indonesia. And then 300 million usd to surinam/Guyana - in the name of fighting co2. You can get a lot of road improvement for that, even if the road barely fits between the fjord and the mountain wall.

Road standards in Norway are not that bad at all if you consider the complicated topography and the low population density.
