Hello there Dave, Quite a pull up there from Dunmail Raise, I remember doing a leg from Kirkstone pass, to Dunmail Raise and back again, that climb on the return up that broken shattered path to Fairfield summit nearly put my lights out M8. Never a dull moment up there Dave like you said, always learning. As per usual you managed to crack me up again with your compressed sandwich trick. 😂 Keep 'em coming Dave, love watching your escapades and adventures in our glorious mountains and fells. Hi Dave, thanks for another tour of the Lakes, I have enjoyed watching many of your stunning camps! Have a nice Christmas, I look forward to many more next year!
Great video Dave. In November I descended off Fairfield to Grisedale Tarn with my Dad. Like you said, a total nightmare of a descent. Really treacherous path. We were totally clagged out. The weather was awful. Still loved it though. Thanks for sharing your videos Dave. 🙏
Dolly wagon pike is old norse apparently ..somthing to do with a lifted giant .......Afer 22 years in the middle east i am returning home ,will be living on the out skirts of the Lake district national park , cant wait !!!Proper Fish n chipps , real beer and views :)

Hey Dave, great to finally catch up with your channel, I've been very busy with family lately as you will understand, this is a great route , one I have walked and camped myself, although I was considerably more out of breath than you 🤣🤣🤣 Raise beck wasn't as deafening when I walked it 😳 Grizedale Tarn is a very serene place, I took the easy option and camped at the far end of the Tarn looking down the valley to st Sunday crag 🤣👌 I do fancy dollywagon myself sometime soon 😁 great views looking back on the way up 😍 but the views from the top WOW 😍😍😍 I may have said absolutely stunning a few times myself 🤣🤣🤣 looks like you got the Duomid pitched just in time 👌 oh no squashed sandwiches 😳🤣 shame the clag was still there in the morning, but that's just how it is sometimes 😢 great camp and video as always mate, catch you soon, atb Paul 🙏🏕️🏕️🏕️😁
Afternoon Dave. (Or is it classed as evening now 🤔 👀 🤣) I know you said it was October, I'd of guessed it wasn't December with your attire lol, way too cold for rolling up your sleeves now 🤣. Though you did put your coat on eventually. Glad you got to see the views after your 2020 whiteout ❄️, they were great to see, even on the TV. Always a shame being in the clag when you pitch up and/or wake up in the morning, that's the uk for ya 🤷♂️. I hope you're fighting fit mentally and physically buddy, sending positive vibes💙. A great vid as always, have a happy Christmas and a happy new year fella 😊 see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤟 🤙.
Another great watch Dave. Raise Beck in full flow was awesome. Great scenery on way up. Shame about being in the clouds for rest of the night...but as always you made the most of it.
Great footage on the ascent and great music...you mentioned the drone footage from above the clouds taken at a camp nearby a few weeks ago....that was some of the best drone footage I've seen...thanks very much for a superb video...Best wishes
Hi. With or without views your stuff is still entertaining. Always feel right there with you. Obviously whilst I wouldn't wish starvation on you I was kind of hoping that you had to rescue your missing sandwich from a random passing cow. 😆
Always good to get out Dave , like you I won’t willingly head out if it’s pishing down 😂 but if you get caught in it that’s different . I sacked tonight off , forecast for 30+ mph winds on the summits with the windchill around -10 . Instead having a beer in front of the stove . I’m off next week so will try again. Still a good night even if the views were zero , well done on the camp every month 👍 I lost early in the year when I had sciatica 😂. TFS atb Dave
