In today's vlog I went to my Anatomy SI session in the morning, had taco bell for lunch, got my new glasses fixed at Target Optical, went to Sally's and found sparkly black nail polish and then did my own gel manicure! #gelnails I came home and later on went to a tutoring event at my college and got extra help in college algebra. I'm in high school and in Australia, we learn the algebra that you're learning in college in our final years of high school (year 11 and 12). and we also do calculus. It's interesting to see how different Australia's curriculum to Americas. We learnt about polynomials and functions like (Function x) like 8 weeks ago. Love your videos though, i always watch them whilst i study myself. xxx
ahaha i'm in australia too. I finished high school but watching some of the calculus stuff really gives me flashbacks :D
I grew up in America. The college algebra she is learning I learned in 10th grade in high school. I also did precalculus 11th grade and beginning calculus 12th grade. Not everyone takes that route in math. I was advanced in math. Normally people learn what she is learning in high school. I'm not sure why she is doing it in college. I know some people do but I'm not sure why.

i do my gel nails at home too! try filing the surface and then using pure acetone to remove if youre still left with some you can probably just peel it off or gently scrape it off its soo much easier

I was in college algebra this semester. I thought the same thing that I just wanted to pass! But I failed the first three tests lol even with tutoring. I ended up dropping it cause it was just too much with my chemistry , human anatomy , & other classes lol. 🙃 good luck!

When soaking off gel or any nail enhancement, make sure it says 100% Acetone. It should also say that it removes gel polish & acrylics. :) Regular nail polish remover won't do a darn thing.

Hi... 100% pure acetone will take the gel polish off quicker 🙂
OMG we are learning the same thing on algebra.
All you have to do if buff the top of the nail and then soak in acetone for 20 minutes and then take an orange stick and peel off the polish. Works 10x faster. Love your vlogs btw.

Your nails took forever to soak off because of the nail polish remover you used, get 100% pure acetone it will soak within 5 min( you can get it at Sally's) also be sure to file top coat off

U need pure acetone for gel removal.
I swear I’ve tried that and I still struggle to get it off
@@xomelissalucy You need to take a file and file down a little. It breaks the seal of the gel. It will come off a lot easier, but make sure you get pure acetone.
Randi MacDonald I did all of that. Lol I watched a RUclips video with a step by step process of how it’s done. It takes me like an hour and a half every time to get the gel off and I use straight acetone and soak for 10-15 min intervals and then file and soak again. Idk why mine doesn’t come off lol
@@xomelissalucy So you actually filed the TOP of the nails BEFORE soaking? That breaks the seal of the gel and its supposed to be easier to come off. Strange that didn't work. Maybe try the cotton pads and tinfoil next time.
