I've seen other videos comparing sign language and I really like this one in that they take turns! I can watch one and then turn and watch the other and go back and forth. When they do it at the same time, it's hard to see what is happening between the two languages. This video is amazing!

This is a great example, especially for me as a non-signer... Brazilian signs are much easier to understand than ASL, at least from this video! I really want to learn! :D

I know ASL, and I've been wondering about how I can learn Libras from here in the States. This was a great start, thanks!

They are both really interesting to watch as sign language experts.
Eles devem criar mais vídeos juntos.

yeah... I'm Brazilian emigrated and have worked with two people who sign... and that was a cool motivation for all of us to learn at least some sign. The bad thing nowadays in these days of social distancing is that I haven't seen any of them and I bet it's been not so easy for them either.

The ASL guy's way of signing is so interesting and unique. He's very expressive with his signs 😃

Meu pai nao ouve direito (ele n fala libras pq c aparelho ele consegue ouvir direito).

    great!
But, did anyone point out that the ASL guy used wrong signs for gas
instead he used 'poop' sign (ASL sign for gas is same as Brazil sign for
it). Sign for 'Wifi' is used differently in most states in U.S. Also
sign for 'who' may be from older signing; Some not current correct ASL.
    Sorry

When we are copying these signs, should we copy as a mirror (when you use the left hand, we use the right) or should we use the hands you use? Muito Obrigada

Lmao did you understand what they said ? They said when I learned Brazilian Sign Language it was fine to use either hand. Also, in ASL you just use your dominant hand.

The only issue for me about this video is that is does not identify which side refers to what language.
