  • In this video I will be showing you how to install Keycloak on Docker and a quick demo of some OIDC flows. I've also prepared a Insomnia collection for you to easily test these flows yourself. Hopefully it will help to get you started with OIDC.
There is a great tutorial made by Stian Thorgersen about adding claims and creating scopes that will help you using keycloak better.

Just wanted to thank you for your effort. This was the first video I've found that has working examples to get me going. The Insomnia presets are great. Keycloak is a powerful software, but it is also cryptic in how to use it. They do a terrible job teaching the concepts of OAuth/ OIDC. Actually, the docs don't even try. I guess they assume anyone using Keycloak is already an OAuth expert. Oh well. Thanks again.

Thanks for leaving your comment. I am glad you find this helpful. I was struggling to find any hand-on tutorial for Keycloak myself so I made this video.

i liek the video - but it doesn't work - i use your exact setup and i just get a traefik 404 not found when i visit the domain. I also can't see it showup in my traefik HTTP list, which it should. I have portainer, homer, and proxmox all working successfully - but i can't get keyguard to work. Really frustrating.
