Nice explanation. Concise and clear! Although it is briefly mentioned here, just to clarify for any other that might be initialy wondering as me, I would add that the client ID and client secret are separately established from the client app through a manual setup done independently from the client app developer and not from the resource owner. This client ID cannot be considered an identity related with the resource owner since it refers only to the client app. Hence we need OIDC to provide identity (authentication) to the client app that can be related with the resource owner without sharing with the client app the username and password of the resource owner.
This is the first time after watching many videos I really understood about what is OAUTH and OIDC and their respective communication flow , token type and their main differences. I am really very very thank ful to you, please keep on posting such technical videos specially about these cloud technologies, it is really very helpful for me do my job with complete competency in my organisation and increased our confidence while working in our office , thank again.🙏🙏
