Really nice video, Lars. This may help. I was in Tanks when I was in the Marines. Tanks, and pretty much like all track vehicles don't drive like cars. Meaning. When you turn right or left. Or your backing up and turning to the right or left. You make those turns in SMALL increments. Turn, let up some, more turning, let up, turn. And then straighten out. NOT taking the turn in one long curving turn like you do in your family car, going around a corner. Small bites only. If you do take those big turns without letting up some, it is more likely you will "through a track". I hope that was a little help for you. Just incase you didn't know. As for snow in your tracks I never drove a Tank in the snow. I was station at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. It's hot there with sand and swamp.

LARS... i think the cheapest way to prevent ice build in the tracks is to build some kindda`shelter for the Gator so the snow dosen`t build up on the tracks and doesn`t melts forming ice cubes.
