Good job Lars. There is a huge difference between buying a part here and there and buying the whole thing new. Not only are you basically making payments as you can afford them, but you are learning how it works and knowing it is fixed as you go. Some of us can't afford to "Just buy it new". People that just buy it new, don't know how to fix it when it does break down. Don't listen to those folks!

Love the Pink Ninja! She is hard core for a little lady. It’s nice how she takes care of the blue ninja as well. She is so cool riding on the tank. It will be great in the future when she is old enough and she is the one who is driving. She already drives the mini mini crawler with her bab blue ninja brother.

Not sure what gear oil you used, but you may consider running it with ATV (automatic transmission fluid) for a while to help running it in. It is supposed to be very good at lubrication but not as stiff as normal gear oil.

Great vid - a good investment that will save time and trouble out in the woods I'm sure.
When lifting awkward items with a winch/hoist/crane, I was shown by an old ship engineer that you can make tiny vertical adjustment to align shafts by starting with the item very slightly low, then pull the straps/strops/chains together very slightly with thin cord. This has the effect of lifting the whole assembly up just a little as the triangle shape of the strop is pulled together by a tiny amount.
*Be careful you don't overdo it* (I'm talking a centimetre or less of tension, at most, on the chain) which gives you a *millimetre or two* of lift on the assembly - *because if you overdo it you can create too much angular pull on the strops which can overload them or put sideways forces on the lifting eyes* - a very bad thing.
It's easier to do with chains than strops because the cord doesn't ride up, but you also do it when using a strop/strap if you use shackles on the lifting eyes - just put the cord through the shackles so it pulls them in a little. But like I say, only a slight amount of adjustment, so use thin cord so you aren't tempted to add too much strain. I'ts only for a millimetre or two.
You can also use thin cord to pull an assembly to one side consistently and gently, but again, very small amounts of tension - just enough to get you the final few milliletres to get aligned through a bearing. Might be useful if you are short of helpers one day.

It's a "Centre Punch" rather than just "Punch". .....
A Punch is generic term for a tool that is used to drive/move something with the aid of a hammer, i.e. a "Pin Punch" is small diameter and used to drive pin into place....
There are many any types of "Punch" all having specific jobs and therefore shapes and sizes.

Lars, if you would like some Gearbox slide/positioning pins/dowels as I mentioned in my post earlier, let me know and I'll get some made for you and shipped to you 👍😎👍 I well know the problems of reassembly of UAZ drive trains, the pins/dowels I made for my UAZ 469B made it a very easy job 👍 if needed you can shorten them if they are a bit to long when they arrive with you 👍😎👍.....

A new 4x4 truck is $18000 + or I can fix my 1995 Ford - Even if I had the money I would fix my old truck - A new vehicle depreciates 20% or more the minute you drive it!! Repair the old equipment and save ! It's a form of recycling! Plus you learn how to fix stuff! Always good to learn new skills!

Its called a 'Centre Punch' here in England. But maybe you should not have used a drill bit for the plug guides. If one fractures, you cant drill it out. Well, hope for the best old mate. Great channel, у тебя есть яйца, Love from London.

Enjoy watching you "improvise" when you have a long supply chain, I imagine it may be weeks or a month to receive items. Just to let you know that is not just in Russia we have to improvise all the time here, even in the United States, can't afford all the new parts and the labor charge WOW it is ridiculous, for instant to change a timing belt on a Subaru 2.2l engine ( and it's very easy to get to, don't even need to remove the radiator) took me 2.5 hours start to finish. cost belt & rollers = 150.00 USD however the labor would have been $600.00+ USD. So I see you improvise on things and really enjoy the thought into fixing things instead of just replacing. Thank you for your videos GREAT STUFF

A good way to get the Gearbox realigned with the Clutch on (Older Russian Vehicles especialy is......
I used to own an Uaz 469b and converted it from the 4 cylinder engine to a Rover 3.5l V8..... I well understand the issues of fitting the Gearboxes and transfer cases ...
1st .. fit studs i.e. threaded rod ( in the position that the bolts go.... that hold the gearbox onto the Bell Housing) into the Clutch Casing Cover ( Bell Housing in U.K. English ) that stick out slightly longer than the lenght of the input shaft (or shorter if not enough room).
This will allow you to rest the Gearbox on the Studs/Rods before the Input Shaft starts to go into the Clutch/Pilot Bearing in the Crankshaft.
    2 .....
Slide the Gearbox on the Studs /Rods ...
Keep it Level and push it forwards into the Clutch.
If possible get a Clutch Aligning tool.
If you can 👍... get some rods made that are the lengths you need, threaded at one end to fit the "Bell Housing" and with a slot for a screwdriver to do them up with 👍
These are just assembly/slide pins/rods they donot need to be extra tight, just not loose so that they guide the box easily into place.
Sadly I donot have my UAZ any more 😠
If I remeber it correctly the 4 Bolts were 12x1.5 thread for the Gearbox to Bell Housing.
If you'd like some rods made.... let me know the correct thread and pitch.... and how long a rod you will need.....
These will save you alot of time and effort....
I know this as I once had to do a Gearbox and Transfer Case swap on my own in -30°C outside in the Snow ..... when I lived in Poland.... 👍😎👍
    Great Channel.....
    Great Content.......
    TTFN and have a Good'n
