The parents need to go a step further & tell their son that they made the choice because they’ve seen their son’s true colors/nature from his comments & that morally they can not trust him to treat all clients ethically. The parents need to sell their practice to a reputable lawyer.

She IS a lawyer, and apparently also passed the bar in her state, since she DID have experience working in her parents' firm. But think about it- is the owner of Delta airlines a pilot? Is the owner of Lowes or Home Depot a building contractor or any kind of tradesperson? Does the owner of a chain of restaurants have to be a trained chef?
It's a business she's familiar with law she could watch over the business n make someone else the boss .this makes no sense to me .taking over running it doesn't mean losing the income .
Could have been a good story, but it was repeated MULTIPLE times by the end. A seven minute story stretched to at least three times that length. And how many times is Op going to tell us she dies not want to be a lawyer?
