I have seen this exact object in October 2018. Using my Meade telescope. It was sunrise, all the stars in the solar system had faded from view with the rising sun. Except the moon and this one bright star, curious I broke out th telescope and that is exactly what I saw. Showed the wife who instantly said "its the crescent moon dummy" i said, "oh yeah, then what the fuck is that big full moon looking moon in the western sky behind you. From Antelope, the crescent object was due east.
This happened 6 years ago and nothing came of it. It looks like Venus eclipsing something or visa versa. It seems odd that something that was visible by media optics wasn't detected or announced by the people watching the skies or operating the powerful telescopes like Hubble etc. Whatever it was didn't cause us any harm and I assume has already passed through or orbited out of view. Interesting though.
Im shocked at the way this story seems to be watered down at every level and just how few answers are available. The fake joviality is a charade and possibly the worst acting beyond" golden raspberry" idiocy. The whole head in sand approach has set alarm bells ringing very loudly indeed. Need answers urgently !
It's not shocking that they are laughing,there isn't any indications that whatever that was that was eclipsing Venus was a threat. And it obviously proved not to be.But WTF was that? This KCRA broadcast was all I saw or heard of it. No other skywatchers or anyone even noticed this whatever it was fly by us. The one that is going to get us will come like a thief in the night. That is the part of the prophecy I do believe to be true. I wonder how often things like that cruise through and nobody notices or maybe I really don't want to know.

Why do they think it's a joke? To me it almost looks as if a planet is crossing in front of the moon, not a shadow. Hmm, weird!!!
