@@atbsigma Yes, that is currently the best way. But you kinda gotta know how to navigate that site to see what you're looking for too. I can maybe help some with that as well. Those interested can watch it all next Tuesday... with the Round of 16 beginning at Noon EDT on FloBowling, followed by the Round of 8 at 3pm EDT, and ultimately the Finals seen on FS1 at 8pm.
Just need to confirm that my bowling game benefits from the advice of Brad and Kyle. This season I don't have time to practice so I focus on staying in the process and rolling the ball when bowling league and competitions. These two aspects of the game really comes through a lot in your videos. Keep up the good work.
Keep bowling good out there all of you wish I was there bowling with you guys my arm will hurt along with other bones in my body just being there would be a grind and blessing at the same time.
Once again, what do you guys do with all of your bowling balls? I see you drill new ones every tournament. Also thanks for the tip video's, they are helpful.
I have been watching pro bowling since 1979. It isn't like football where the players wear matching outfits and knock each other down in a way you write off their pain. No, bowling is more sophisticated than that. It is a social sport, and with pro bowling an emotional one too where you feel their pain. With bowling you hang out with your competitors socializing and knock down bowling pins, often violently, as an alternate to physical conflict (plus you can get drunk in the process). In my lifetime, pro bowlers have never got paid what they deserve compared to other sports. After spending years on the road trying to get to the winner's circle, it is very compelling to watch bowlers under competitive stress with their wives feet away in even worse condition. Watching the emotions of a bowler failing can be better than victory. Watching Pete Weber or Patrick Allen choke was always a fun thing. So what I get out of Brad & Kyle videos is not ways to improve my game (217 at age 63). Rather, these videos are good because they give an inside look into the regular guys who are able to bowl well and want to dedicate their lives to continuing on the tradition of televised pro bowling. Which luckily for us is on a major upswing due to Fox Sports needing content to fill their airwaves. So Brad & Kyle if you are reading this, that is your secret sauce.
Doggone it.... Brad and Kyle just missed being on Team USA tonight. They are still doing well overall, currently #s 10 (Kyle) & 11 (Brad) going into tomorrow's Casher's Round (Top 40) for the World Championship. Kudos to Darren Tang shooting a big 250+ game in the last game Tuesday night to make Team USA... so the House will be represented!
its great to see you guys not just spot lighting the huge stars on tour, we get to see other great bowlers some people might not know about Keven Williams, Jason Sterner (beast btw), Anthony Lavery Spar. Keep up the great work guys

Hey B&K - love the vlogs. I had a quick question about dealing with bad lane topography. I usually average 180/90 on sport but my main house at college has really messed up pair to pair and unless the lane is flooded it’s really hard for the mids to hold up. In addition, the gutter hooks on anything longer than 39 feet but short is abysmally difficult and tight. Any tips on dealing with bad topography/pair to pair? I’m just looking for strategies to avoid frying because I feel helpless to battle the weirdness out there. Thanks!
I see that you guys usually drill balls in the 15lb to 15lb5oz range. Which PBA players throw 16lb balls. Do the two handed bowlers usually throw heavier balls?
@@harveywallbanger2899 There's really no need to be passive aggressive, bud. He never makes the shows, and not everybody checks the PBA website, so how would anybody know?
Kyle says "don't look at scores." This is something that I do. I do not look up at my score until I'm completely done bowling. I have people tell me when it is the tenth frame. Is this a good strategy? Will it harm my performance as I get better as a bowler? (I'm only a second year bowler with a 180 average.)
Everyone has their preference. Some people get dialed in and focused and refuse to look at scores. Personally, I like knowing what I have to shoot to make cut, it motivated me. You will find your preference I'm sure as you improve.
Not looking at the score will not harm your performance. My dad used to get irritated when his friend Tut would say something like “we really need a strike here.” This was back in the 70s when strikes were still relatively rare. Bowling is still simple in principle. Every time you throw the ball try to knock down as many pins as you can. If they don’t all go on the first ball, knock the rest down on the second. If what was left is a difficult split, go for the most pins even if that would not be the best way to make the split. The exception would be if you or your team will lose everything unless you make it, and this is the only time you need to be aware of the score and this really only applies to people bowling anchor in the last frame of a second or third game.
Guys are you telling me you are charging 500 dollars a year for instructional videos? Or am I missing something because for 500 you need to come to me and give me lessons lmao.

You should put the pic of the ball you’re throwing on the screen like you did in the past. I really enjoyed that
I watched all these guys yesterday... It was pretty dope!
Congrats on making the cut
Prather's ball must've been made out of Kryptonite when he was bowling on the Cheetah.

So did Chris get inspiration during his 10th frame of his 300 game because of the pennant to his left?

They are at South Point in Las Vegas. Will be there in late June for USBC Open Championships.
