You're one of only tutorials I've seen that actually gets the guitar part right! EVERYONE else holds the A note in the D chord throughout the whole intro and verse when in fact the G string is open for a part of it. That's why you're my first pick in tutorials! Thanks!

I can play music. I have played the flute since I was 10 (36 years ago) and can play the piano when I can get over how much I hate bass cleft. I learned the piano as an adult. I can read music and know rhythm. I just can't get over how much guitar strings hurt! Both my sons learned the guitar but I can't wait until I build the callus and give up. After seeing this, I am going to try again, for the fourth time. The first time I was eight and my Dad taught me. He did teach me all the chords and simple songs. Maybe I had tougher fingerpads when I was young.

Thanks for the lesson. In the tab for the riff, the high e string on the d chord is left out on some strums. Also on the second chord some e strings are left out.
