Exactly. Ukraine will not be purchasing as they are ramping up their own production. This company is not run very well, just lucky timing associated with the current global upheaval. They may still do well in the short term but will likely be buried once global drone production scales.
@@Lightcyclerider The defense industry attracts allot of attention with “big numbers”, but it isn’t very profitable. Unmanned Systems, however, could be very profitable on the civilian side. I expect allot of consolidation once the “free” money is gone.
@@chillxxx241 Watching the Ukrainians develop their own drone factories that can churn out very similar units for a fraction of the cost IMO doesn't indicate long term viability for the 600 platform in that theater. They essentially provided proof of concept and now it will be locally reproduced. AV's leadership leaves a lot to be desired, contrary to the brown nosing from Cramer. They are riding high on the war machine for the time being, I'm just not convinced they will be a long term player in the space due primarily due to their internal culture.
I don’t think anyone respects him in that company. Most of their drones are low quality, and if it weren’t for Pentagon funding, they likely would’ve gone bankrupt long ago. I used to work there, and to start with, no one really likes him. The company has been in disarray since 2018, consistently mismanaged from the top. They copy designs from DJI, acquire other companies, then struggle with integration due to poor leadership. It’s mostly a façade-their Switchblade drones, for example, can be taken down by birds, and the payload is so small it’s barely effective beyond single-target engagements. This is where taxpayer money is being wasted. Just look at their employee turnover in the last five years-nearly everyone is new!

AeroVironment app in india is real or fake
Will Ukraine buy these on their own or are they just taking them because they are paid by US tax payer with debt?

These systems have much too short of range for Taiwan scenarios. They need to double their range.
