I was obsessed with the show when I was 14-16. When I was 22, I moved to NY for school and was so excited to try them. Was SO disappointed😞 I had a vanilla cupcake and it had no vanilla flavor. Very bland. I am also a pastry chef. I HIGHLY recommend Baked by Melissa though😋 they’re delicious! Also, I am also from Oklahoma! Woo!!
I appreciate you watching! All of our taste buds are different, so don’t let me deter you too much! I just thought the shipping process may have messed up the freshness this time. Most of the time, our shipments taste as good or sometimes better than in real life. I’d love to try it in person in NY and give it a second chance.
Damn....literally bought his golden rose cake & it should arrive around the 23rd of this month. 230 bucks for it. For a special occasion so I don’t mind the price just as long as it matches the satisfaction of every bite but now I’m pretty concerned. Hopefully it turns out better than y’all experience 👀 I think the higher the price the better the cake but it honestly should be delicious no matter what....could play apart though. Praying it does 🙏🏾 fingers crossed 🤞
I was on doordash and then I saw Carlos bakery on it (they have gold belly stuff) and then I saw how they wanted 70$ for this fucking cake, and like, I just thought "ohhhhh come. the. fuck. on. man. I totally get high value food, I have had many foods that are like... just on that other level compared to the rest of the competition. even when its a food, like some fucking rainbow cake, where you think.... okay well REALISTICALLY, just **how** good can a rainbow cake be anyway? like it can be better, but there's obviously a threshold here...... when you consider just how great a difference you notice between the quality of various sugar, butter, and flours.... and then imagine what they likely use" And so I really wanted to find a little review or something. to enlighten me on the truth (and fall in Line with my developing bias as I scrolled through a menu of 2.50$ mini canoli's (got to buy 24 for such. great price though!), or two lbs of butter cookies for 65$ or whatever the fuck other insanity was going on there..... OH YES. the 50$ pumpkin or apple pies. THAT is what drove home the necessity of checking out a review on this shit. 50. dollar. fucking. pie. 'nough said. So anyway, let me say that I am thankful y'all took the time to shoot this video, and I'm dreadfully sorry it hasn't yet to recoup you the cost of that DEFINITELY no better the Walmart cake, joke of a cake. I can just taste it through the screen even... ....during one of those, buy the thing, take it home, glass of milk, crack the box open , grab slice sized handful of cake and eat it all in 10 minutes then basically regret about 70% of the experience sometime later....knowing i'll be doing the same thing sometime next month probably. But yah, I googled cake. boss sucks ass I think? lol. and well you guys are the first video I landed on basically so, that's cool right!? good for you guys. I thought the video was pretty decent overall too. Cash is a welcome addition and good for views (there are 100 worse ways to exploit your child in America these days, so don't sweat it. Its really just a ROI at this point anyway im sure....) and you guys have a fun vibe, and nice chemistry. I dont usually laugh out loud at things... but I did give a brief one syllable chuckle in response to the 'man hands' comment. I thought briefly (in an abstracted, no real visualizing-type way...) of the fact that you (the man, forgot your names, not worth effort to look for them) are the one who has to live with getting all the massages and handy's etc. from those meat hooks, so you better damn like them! And.I also thought of that Seinfeld episode of course too (if you dont know what I mean, Id say its worth the watch. If you guys aren't in to Seinfeld or think you dont like it etc. id say give it a try again too, just google best episodes or something. you can skip around seasons a bit watching episodes solo without much consequence, although the characters develop over the seasons of course....... Like how It is in 'The Office' So yah good job guys. you can imagine you aren't likely to get much views on content like this.... Try and bring in some more factors that increase things but that you aren't wasting time on. A couple more nice shots fo the cakes close up, like even just a little moving left to right slowly, 4-6 second shot upclose of each cake would have been nice... that kind of supporting B footage. maybe a couple minutes tops. and then the thumbnail from what I remember, could have benefitted from a more vibrant, in your face nice fat pic of rainbow cake, type shit as well.. -dont forget getting in a lot of good tags and keywords as well, idk youtube so if they have them cool, you an even just throw in a list " this, that, another, all, separated, by, commas." into the video description as it can help with the views a little. always ask for the likes, nothing wrong with letting us all know you'd love to be able to make a little additional revenue from here one day, ideally, just maybee.... for your budding family. and the likes get you in on that youtube algorithm game. And lastly, experiment with different, more likely to trend/get more views, content as well. NEVER be afraid to post some random ass anything you ever film that remotely has a chance to go viral-ish. If your in laws fall off the boat and get attacked by sharks, whip out the phone, snag the selfie, and then you can hop in and rescue. Even if doesn't feel exactly 'your channel's style'... it can be worth the random subs and algorithm traffic it can bring you. . Anddddd yah. you guys are having fun, I think this is like the modern version of a nice scrapbook thing and home videos your child can appreciate a lot in about 2 decades and onward, so that's great. But I want to stress too that you should keep it up, and while doing everything you can to uncomplicated it ( *minimal* editing. good pre-thought shots always beat more editing shit later. editing and extras in general ((intros, musics, etc)) sure go for it if you want, or later on... but TONS of video channels dont do any of that and still get large followings with content relatively like yours- a little more polish maybe, but certainly enough do without any more polish at all........ personality trumps all that anyway and you guys got enough of that so) andddd like... yah. just. pay attention to stuff you can maybe try or do for fun that is more trendy or a bit more in the mix currently (not that this wasn't) but maybe something that could stand out a little more or a popular niche that falls into your lap... basically just. Any videos you can get on here, the are more likely to get tens of thousand of views due to the topic of the video and such..... the better. as all of those will add up to more random sub, more views, MORE ALGORITHM most importantly... And eventually - could get you into that monetization. I agree dont exacts covet it, that can ruin the fun.. and its nice to see you guys are not trying to be one of those dreaded fucking. family whatever youtube fuckwads... the dozens of them out there trying to like, brand their names with vlogs. But at the same time that will be why people who sub and keep up with you and aren't us randomly stumbling in... it will be why they watch you, 1/2 for your content topics and 1/2 for you guys yourselves. soooo0000 yah. Mainly I just wanted to get across that I know its nothing now, but if your enjoying it (and like I said, its a modern scrap book of sorts. modern family home video method. I always feel Sooo blessed and happy that my parents took ((and didn't throw away when we moved or some BS)) so much family footage and pics from back when I was so young.... its a ton of fun watching baby you and your young parents as you get older. and many people if they have videos just have these ugly, terribly shot, iPhone camera in my hand, all over the place, semi-soul less, type of videos that seem to have came into reality with the invention of camera phones ((there's just something so enchanting and etc. about the way the camcorder vids of my childhood in the 90's look compared to videos people take on the fly today.)) ...... ((( Jesus, do I ever rant and go off on tangents all the time))) MAINLY just waned to SAY, I know its nothing now. and it might still be quite the same even if you upload 150 more videos over the next 12-18 months. But Ive done quite a bit of research about making money from youtube and stuff.. And it isn't at all uncommon.... for people to consistently put out content like yours for YEARS. 3 years lets say... and lets say by then you've got a few videos with 15-25k views hopefully... whatever..
(oh my god did I really write this much what the fuck.. embarrassing... and creepy. Jesus.) ((comment part 2.)) THE POINT IS. that after going at a snails pace for years--- IFFF you have been fairly consistently uploading (you can skip a 2-3 months here and there whatever), that you can find yourself BLOWING UP out of nowhere overnight. sometimes its due to one or two new videos you upload that happen to grab 20k,40k, 80k views or whatever in a short period of time for you. maybe a month (doesnt have to be right after uploaded either, can happen to videos that haven't had much views until a sudden burst) ... but that or something similar happens, and then next thing you know the algorithm can just magically THRUST your channel out there all the sudden... putting all sorts of your videos, even low viewed ones, out into the sidebars of any remotely remotely relevant content (tags, keywords... 0__o), and next thing you know, your old ass, unpopular channel instantly starts generating revenue and does it moth after month and you just ride that wave from then on. That what can be great about monetizing on youtube, having a DEVELOPED channel with lotssss of videos on it... because even old videos can get found by the algorithm and randomly seem 10,000's of views some random month, etc. And ALLLLLLLLLL your videos you have ever posted, will all be paying you out for every view they get, for as long as they are up and get views. so it can surprisingly add up to something quite significant even if you are only gettin 15-50k views per video, with not so many subscribers, etc. It can still be meaningful with a big library of video on an older channel... 150 videos getting 5-600 views a month is still 75,000 views a month in the end. So for instance, things like reviews of products you get that are maybe trending and you like. Maybe a review on a popular or new (or neither, whatever) thing you buy for Cash... Even if it isn't exactly your thing... if you can bust it out an upload it In all of 15-20 minutes or whatever (dont have to be too serious about it). it can definitely be worth it one day, especially when you think of doing some videos like that as a (potential, very not guaranteed.. but there are ways to work harder and try really try and make content for the views of course..) investment towards a possible future PASSIVE monthly continual cash flowing income source..... well that kind of perspective can make it a bit more worth it to sometimes do a little video of this or that one day if an opportunity arises. And while I could have said that in about 50 words im sure........ I am very stoned right now. and I dont know how else to justify this amount of text. Anyway, best of luck to yal. thanks for being just the review I needed and was hoping to find. 1st try no less !

I always rely on CAKEr state to lubricate my throat!
I wanted to have breakfast and watch the video... not anymore ;)
Carlos bakery is gross. I used to live next door to Hoboken so I went there once and was disappointed with everything I purchased from that bakery.
5.1 isn't that low tho
it looks like cover in formaldehyde 😧
