I don't see that being necessary to bleed the air... Once you hook to your implement cycle back-and-forth few times you're good to go

This was a new circuit with about 16 feet of lines with no oil. I only do this when making a new circuit. It would take a long time to purge all of the air out of the circuit. It only takes a couple of minutes and you're good to go.
