    Thank you, good video
    I have a used set of Oticon Acto Pro. Used but like a newer used.
    Problem is that the audio level is too low for me.
    With button as in your video I can set levels from not hear at all to the low whispering. Not ebnough for me.
    There are some menus? For what and how to get there?

      Good afternoon! Based on what you're describing, it sounds like the programming isn't where it needs to be for your degree of hearing loss or something is keeping the aids from producing enough volume for you. The best step would be to return to your hearing care provider and have them take a look. It could be something as simple as a clogged filter all the way to the prescription being off, which can easily be determined with real ear measurements/speech mapping.

    Is there anyway to measure the decibel output of the hearing aid? I have an iPhone of the latest version but I can’t seem measure it in real time.

      The hearing aid output can be measured on a hearing instrument test box, also referred to as a HIT box. It is recommended to contact your hearing provider and ask them to show you previous HIT box results after your fitting or maintenance visits.

    How do you change the volume if you only have one hearing aid ?

    • @allisonaudiology
      @allisonaudiology  Год назад

      You'll need a remote or the app if your aid doesn't have a rocker switch. Your hearing provider should be able to show you the remote accessory or you can download the app. We do have videos showing how to install and pair the app to your aid.

    Left and Right on the button??????? Cycling through the programs????? tapping like you showed, or really pressing the button?????? I don't understand your instruction at all.

      We hate to hear our video didn't show the function clearly. Sometimes with these buttons, they are so small, when we press them, our fingers cover the entire button so it is hard for the camera to capture the movement. We would recommend visiting with your hearing provider to work together and address any additional questions that may arise when visiting.

    My rocker switch is not working to control volume

      We hate to hear that! Sometimes debris can get under the rocker button and cause the button to malfunction. It is recommended to see your hearing care provider because this is not an easy fix at home. At Allison Audiology, we're able to assess this on some models of hearing aids, but others need to be sent in to the manufacturer. Consulting with your hearing care provider is best in this case to see what route is best for you.
