I Remember The Dallas Mavericks 2010-11 Championship🏆Like It Was Yesterday
I was at game 4 of the Lakers series. We called it the Mother's Day Massacre. The stadium was absolutely electric that day.

I remember watching this championship dvd, good memories.
2011 was a proof that not always the best teams prevail but teams with the most determination, teams who suffered painful losses previous years.
Kobe was no longer at his prime unlike in 2008 or 2009. He had begun declining during the 2009-2010 NBA season. You win against Dallas, you still lose against KD or against LBJ (like the 1988-89 LAL who were attempting a Three-Peat).
The one of the best underdog stories in the NBA in my opinion. Truly inspring.
Have been a Dallas Mavericks fan since 2001, thanks to Steve Nash!!! I was so happy when they won the title and were vindicated against the Miami Heat. Never forget that!!!

Man, that series with the Lakers was tough to watch as a Lakers and Kobe fan. But kudos to this Mavs team, for me, this is one of the best playoff run in NBA history!
It's so good to see that NBA reposted this video. I watched this documentary at least once a year to make myself feel good. I like how this team works and it eventually paid off. Was rooting for LeBron to lose this because he's the villain in the NBA at that time but man we gotta talked about how this team dismantled Lakers, Thunder and Heat in a single postseason run. One of the greatest finals runs in recent history. How they completely dismantled the defending champion Lakers was a work of art. Then to take down James, Wade, Bosh, and the heat. It’s rare to have a team with one superstar make a run like this but it’s happened before. Dallas had one superstar, a tested veteran in Kidd, and a great sidekick in Terry. But the entire team was well rounded. Chandler, butler before he got hurt, Marion, Stevenson, Barea, etc. Dallas had one superstar, but the entire team as a whole were superstars. It takes a team. And Dallas proved that in 2011

I remember this run. This is a good what-if had they kept Tyson Chandler and JJ Barea in the off-season after but that was also the beginning of the salary cap where Dallas had forced to play under the luxury tax, which is one of the big reasons this team had to almost disbanded. Had runs in the playoffs but not the same until the arrival of Luka Doncic.

This and 2016 championships are the most impressive. Both were insane in how they won it and the talent they went through to get it.
MAVS got through BRoy and Aldridge the “mavs killers”. Ended the Kobe/MJ discussion with both two threepeats a piece if the lakers won. Mavs swept them. Also stopping a potential Kobe V. Bron finals. Mavs we through a young hungry OKC with 3 future MVPs. This was a crazy run.
I cried when Dirk won this ring... as a Kobe and Lakers fan after he beat them I felt it in my gut that he was gonna finally do it and to beat that scam of a big three Lebron put together to do it was even more sweet.

that was a magic run. i remember both games against okc and the heat when i turned off the game because mavs were down so big and next morning i see the mavs win the games...insane.
