Thanks for the quick range review. I have owned three P32s. Never had an issue with ammo they like. Mine like PMC Bronze and Aguilla just fine. That ammo is available. Mine do not like hollow points or exotic stuff. Watch out for rim lock when loading mags. Just pull the trigger nice and smooth all the way. Pearce makes mag extensions and Hogue grip sleeves really help too. Zero recoil and a really well made pocket pistol that won’t have a cracked frame like all of the Beretta Tomcats I owned.
@ As far as 32ACP, yeah. Why has Beretta released two “improved” versions of the original Tomcat? They had too many frame failures. I sent two back to them that had to be destroyed due metal failure. Why is their newest Tomcat version released last year at Shot Show 2024 still not on the shelves of the big retailers? More metal failures. I hope they can get it sorted out finally.
The p32 is an amazing little piece of engineering. 10oz fully loaded is amazing. I personally prefer a j frame though, especially for reliability. I got rid of my p32 and picked up a much more expensive s&w 43c in 22lr. Only one ounce heavier. Carried that for awhile but I was blessed recently to find a long discontinued s&w 332 which is a 32 mag with a titanium cylinder. It's only 13oz loaded and has become my favorite pistol.
I love mine. the p32 is great. I live on the gulf coast in the US and in the summer it's very hot and humid. this is what I carry when I can't conceal a larger pistol. so lightweight sometimes I forget I'm even carrying a gun when I go to pocket dump
Thanks SPN for the advice… I’m packing my shit tonight and moving to a better neighborhood and tomorrow I’m quitting and getting a much better paying job… can’t believe I never thought of this on my own I owe you one bub 💪🏼👍🏼
That's a gen 2. I own several gen 1s with no issues. Get your hands on the plus 1 magazine extender from KelTec. I think they are discontinued and only are left with the remaining stock. The 10 rounders haven't been made in years and they are going for $100 easy if you can find one, and I'm not talking about ProMag. I have one of those too to practice jam drills.
I suspect limpwristing caused the failure in the first mag, because even an experienced shooter can be surprised by a 7 ounce pistol. It needs a firm forearm to recoil against, such as it is. Of course it needs break-in and a little lube, and over on KTOG the owners group discusses a fluff and buff initial cleaning, smoothing, and polishing which may or may not be needed for break-in.
I have a p3at. Little more punch then .32 and Keltec makes a factory 9 round extended clip. Bought it used with a lot of holster wear, eats everything I put through it. Easy to conceal, shoot, and reliable.
Idk, I was a surgical tech for some years. We had a gunshot victim one night. He was shot with a .32 cal. Went through his bladder and exited through the left side of his back. They can pass through. Not sure what the gun was but, probably something like this. Just saying...
Polish the feed ramp to a nice silvery shine and feeding will be much better. Any polishing paste and q-tips will do the trick. Happich Simichrome Polish or Filtz Polish are a couple of decent choices.
Gee.. I wonder why? Lol No one really knows, but rumor has it it, Kelgren and Keltec just didn't have the funds for the legal fight after Ruger essentially stole the design. Might have been some under the table hush money too..
In the gel testing I've seen of 32 acp, FMJ barely tickles The Sweet Spot of penetration So I definitely would not load it with hollow points Throw some Fiochi 73 grain in it and call it good
Had mine for 20+ years never had a FTF. Replaced trigger with a flat aluminum one for a LCP had to modify a little to get it to work but it is way better and no trigger slap. Run FMJ only HPs are a waste of money, a 10 round mag is available.
Did anyone else notice that comment “I live in an area where we are civilized” that was corny .. there are civilized & uncivilized people everywhere you go .. don’t insult those who have not or could not make it out
The ruger lcp max is $250 and is a great gun? The cz p-10c is $350 and is a great gun? Used Glocks are roughly $300 and are great? You aren’t making a point
@ you made the statement of people living in bad areas, why if you were in a defensive situation would you want to have a smaller worse shooting gun than your main CCW. And if lost your main in a struggle against an attacker, how are you supposed to grab that out of your pocket when someone is potentially punching you in the face.
@@GojiraCRF Ok, I think everyone wants to choose a good area to live in, but people still live in bad areas so obviously not everyone can. And saying pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get a better job is just lazy logic. .32 auto and 22lr have way higher failure % than 380 and 9mm. So why not call the Keltec a get the mail gun and say get CZ, Glock, sig, Taurus, or walther and train with those and if your in a bad area keep your head on swivel and avoid fights if you can. Not some magical scenario where ohh no I lost my first gun, good thing I got a second gun.
Why is it always failed channels of wannabe cod cosplayers and tacticool mall cops that watch one video and make half cocked comments? Anyways, I have the LCP Max I got after trading in my regular LCP in. Sadly I kinda miss how much smaller it was. Not sure I'd go with the p32 ever

in the p32 manual it mentioned there is a 50-100 round break in period. nice shooting SPN
Thank you sir! Respect
I'm in a break in period myself.

Ditto
Keltec better than Beretta?

A classic 'get off me'" gun.

The spicy Fiochi 73gr FMJ is perfect for the P-32 🔥
I saw a 32acp comparison video where the Fiochi was the best performer. That's what I carry.

I have owned a P32 for years. No problems at all after break in. I carry it loaded with Buffalo Bore when I run during really hot weather.

I have had my p23 for years and it's always been my go to deep concealment gun with the 10 round mag for back up
I always recommend fmj euro ammo with p32. Ymmv
It's a great option for hot summer day carry or just a quick run to the gas station
Mine needed beak in. Will only reliably feed full length rounds, no HP. Underwood is ideal for carry due to full length round.
.32 is a semi rimmed cartridge so you gotta make sure you are loading them correctly into the mag to avoid rim lock.
I suspect limpwristing caused the failure in the first mag, because even an experienced shooter can be surprised by a 7 ounce pistol.

Sweatpants, gym shorts this gun is always in my pocket every waking hour even when I have a larger belt gun on.
32 auto has plenty of power, as with all pistols, bullet placement is ALL that matters. it will do surprisingly well out to 50 yards slow fire.
I love mine, hideout gun
He said, " I have two guns on me "
Yup.. appendix and pocket

Had one. It always ran well. The magazine baseplate is weak and may fail. I've had one break and dump rounds in my pocket.
Nice piece

This gun and the original Ruger lcp look so damn similar lol ,
Gee.. I wonder why? Lol

every company copies keltec.

Heyyy do you have two RUclips channels?!?! I just found another channel called SPN Firearms Clips……
Aren't defensive rounds more reliable though?
Older Keltec p32 had plastic guide rods I replaced mine with a factory metal one. did yours have plastic or metal?
the new ones have a plastic guide rod, they do not break. the metal rods have been known to cause damage to the slide.
how's the trigger feel ??
Use European ammo. The extraction groove is different. It will be more reliable

No, the 10 round mag is no longer available.
Same story with my p32. Im at like 600 rounds. Needs to be cleaned and oiled cus it jammed again last few boxes i shot 😅

If you live in a bad area, move to a good area so you can only afford a $300 gun. What the hell kinda advice is that?

I think he’s saying choose a location where your threat level is low, so that a 7+1 .32 is more than likely adequate for most scenarios

Kel Tec...! What the hell is that? Come on Man!
It needs hot european ammo. 73 grain
