This car actually has launch control and I noticed you didn’t use it. You activate launch control by going into performance traction mode settings after putting the car in track mode. There are quite a few performance traction mode settings depending on what you’re looking for. The performance traction modes holds revs at 3k rpm and it shifts differently depending on which mode you choose in the pmt menu for better times. I own one of these cars and actually achieved a time of 4.7 seconds 0-60. There’s also many ways to get around rev limiter in this car and if you don’t mind messing your car up you can get better times 😂. But I haven’t done that as I love this car.
My dealership has a drift matalic color in. I’m trying to see if lease prices are like 500 or so. And trying to get them to take my mini countryman lease a year early.
This was a great night review but besides chassis Cadillac still is a no for me sadly my ATS was hell on earth for reliability and seeing that start stop be so hard on the engine bay 😬.
the ct4 2.0 gets a 8 sp auto not the 10sp. the ct5 2.0 turbo will get the 10 sp. thats how gm differentiates the different class of cars . ct5 supposed to be the higher level so their base motor will have the better transmission than the ct4's base motor and tranny. and their luxury; premium 2.7 gets the 10sp but i believe its not the same shift programing as the V. The 2.7 V's 10sp is going to be crisper and feels more snappy when shifting than the lux prem version. If they kept the shift program the same in the lux prem as the V then what's the point of buying the V right? having an extra 15hp aint gonna do it.
Is the 360 camera worth it. Or not necessarily needed. The car I’m looking at doesn’t have to. So it’s 55,000 instead of 60,000. This seems to be a better car and drive then a m330i.
I think these cars are mis marketed. In my opinion the Blackwing should be the only model with the V name and drop the Blackwing. All the others should just be CT4. It's too confusing. Too many people with the V are trying to make them look like Blackwings and that's pretty pathetic. I own a CT4 V Blackwing with the Tremec TR6060 6 speed manual. I would never pay $60k for this, buy a very gently used Blackwing for about that price instead, you will be much happier. The Blackwing is far more car, more power, better handling, just better all the way around. The Blackwing has 18's as well, more sidewall makes for a better ride but the magnetic ride control is awesome. My Blackwing came with launch control, rev match and no lift shift. So much fun to drive.
That’s my favorite Cadillac model. Very underrated. It looks so nice at night.
I applaud Cadi for actually selling manual sedans... two of them. Who else does that? I give applause when its due.
no one buys them and its much harder to sell them but good option nonetheless

G70. It has a better interior and transmission. Exterior styling might be a little better on the Genny too.
Very good looking Cadillac. Wish Cadillac still offered the CT6 in the North American market 🙄

Sounds buzzy. Would you say it is? Being in the cabin is not the same as hearing it in my office. But i don't like what i hear here.

My ATS was also a pain… It spent more time at the dealership than in my garage… Was glad to sell it.
If you flip the rear seats down, can you fit a mountain bike in the trunk (taking front wheel off, of course)?

When he was doing 0-60 pull, i notice twice when going into 3rd it seems cvt-ish.
Absolutely noticed that too, like it is confused unlocking and locking up the torque converter under WOT, very strange
Yes I noticed it too. Not sure what the heck is going on there. Again this transmission isn't impressive.
I had to come to the comments to see who else noticed it. There is a pretty bad delay in the revs during hard acceleration. WTH is that about?

Odd that my Argent Silver 24' Sport 2.0 with Onyx Package came with 19' wheels and run flat tires and the "V" has 18' wheels.
I would totally always drive in v mode.
IDK why, but the CT4 has funny proportions. It's the size of a Mazda 3 Sedan, too small
