How to Use an RV Toilet Without Making a Mess

- Have you ever wondered how us RVers deal with our "business"? Well, with a very slight modification, our business is about the same as you cave dwellers. Using an RV toilet can be a real mess, if you don't know how! In this video, I show you in a short humorous skit, how to get your doodles down the drain pipe without making a big swirly mess in the bowl. Using the Dometic 310 is a breeze but these tips can help with other water flush type RV toilets as well. Just don't eat the Turtles!

I'm buying my first RV this month and have no idea how to do any of this stuff, I've never even stayed in one. I REALLY appreciate a straightforward video.
You can do it! if it's a new one it will come with manuals for each and every system that was installed at the factory. READ THEM! So many people don't and things fail. There is a large amount of incorrect information out there! I have all the periodic maintenance items loaded in my phones calendar so I get reminders to take care of things.
You should've rented a few before buying, to see what you want in one or what not. It's a few thousand dollars investment. Seems I'm a few months late
@@matiassu5604 not bad advice, I've camped before as a kid. Now I appreciate more comfort. I did my first trip from Cape Canaveral down to Sebring about a month ago. Turned out very nice, next trip will be to the Keys. Cheers.
Call me strange but I would much rather watch amusing/informative videos made by some guy with a few thousand subscribers than the million dollar crap on network TV

Oh my word! Love this so much! Thank you. We are on our first rv trip with a motor home we rented from RV share this was a life saver. We have been using the campground bathroom because we were scared of the toilet LOL!

Get a spray bottle with a strong jet stream and fill it with soapy water for stubborn bits (ZEP makes a good one). Good luck on the trip!

great video! we stay in our camper all summer and over the years we've had to do a lot of toilet lessons. We all went through this at one point so nobody should feel intimidated about asking other campers what to do...especially regarding the awning.

Keep some soapy water in a good spray bottle under the sink for dislodging the occasional bits. You’ll be good then

@@davidclt I’ve never used anything but Scott for RV paper. It’s not worth the risk to try cheaper paper then have to pay to have it removed
I have been well schooled now on RV toilets now. That's was really funny and informative too.

Hi, I'm new to trailer. Can anyone briefly explain to me how do I get electrical power for my AC? How do I dispose toilet sewages and how to go about toping up water for shower. Thanks anyone in advance :)

1. Plug in the electrical cable
2. Hook up the sewage hose. Put one end into the waste dump and connect the other end to your trailer waste outlet then pull the waste valve handle.
3. Use a water hose to fill the on board water tanks.
Good idea even something for home use if you don't want to leave evidence behind
