That fake laugh that he does when he's frustrated is so creepy. He's gonna climb a tower with a rifle one of these days when that laugh doesn't work anymore.
he wont be able to figure out hes supposed to take the cap off the scope and be like "DOOOD WHATS WITH THESE BUGGED SCOPE MECHANICS I CANT FUCKING SEE ANYTHING THERES NOTHING I CAN DO HAHAHAHAHA"
$3k down the toilet. I still find it funny that he punked out and blocked comments and likes. I hope Chris is watching this so he can laugh because Phil deserves it.
"So OBS is telling me to run it as an administrator in order to capture KOTOR. Anybody know how to do that????"(this is from his twitter) He truly is a computer genius. He doesn't even know how to run a program as an administrator. Bugged Compatibility Mechanics, I guess.
Anyone remember that Spongebob episode when Spongebob spent everything (even his clothes) to buy a electronic spatula and it screws him? Same thing happened to Phil.
Cam Barlow Thats what Phil did too. He saide in the mid 2000's he was building PC's for a hobby and he was a part of the PC master race. Even though in the past he's been mocking the PC's as shitty and not-worthwhile machines. Then he tried the BF hardline beta on his old shitty PC with GTX460, ran like crap, ofcourse. Then one guy decided to help him and tell to upgrade his PC. Well Phil was like fuck no, disabled the comments, just to show that he could do this shit so that people would accept his ass. Then he went and threw 3000 $ on this PC, which, as you can see, funs like shit :)
I wonder who he'll blame for this, since he's obviously not going to admit his own mistake. Let's make a list of possible culprits: * The PC company for selling him exactly what was advertised at the price it was advertised as. * His fans for giving him only $3,000 which is very clearly and obviously not enough to purchase a game-focused PC (everyone else probably got theirs from the black market or magic or something). * The shipping company since a chipped piece of plastic is probably a vital performance enhancing component which he would figure out with his old hobby of building PCs. * The trolls and haters for giving him good advice to avoid this exact scenario which he had to ignore because he has to ignore all the mean things they say. * PC gaming in general for being the equivalent of black magic, allowing everyone else except poor Phil to play PC games for some inexplicable reason completely out of his control. * All of the above. Soon he's not going to have the luxury of pushing the blame to other people, and by then it's going to be too little, too late.
It's funny how phil insults chris for the whole computer thing being a lemon and Chris was an amateur at making his pc. When phil got his pc from Chris which cost around $1000 he played the witcher 2 and it ran smoothly on that pc but now he has a new pc that cost almost $3000 he can't even run this game on his expensive ass computer. Well karma got Phil good its exactly what he deserved.
You realize that the game probably runs amazingly when he's not streaming right? He's streaming at 1080p and 60fps. He just needs to get a secondary pc for streaming.
mop man Considering that streaming at 1080p and 60fps isn't the general way that youtubers/twitch streamers stream, I would need proof or a spec list that would justify that performance.
mop man Again. Whether his gpu was more potent, it's still not the regular format to stream at such levels. 1080p 60fps. Most streamers stick to 30 fps and easily handle it like Phil has before. He needs a dedicated streaming pc if he wants to be able to stream easily at 1080p and 60fps. Or he'll need to definetly lower the quality of his games.
***** and you think with 3k that isnt possible? hes also using a quicksync cpu which are great for streaming with an incompatible board. i see where youre coming from, but its not justifiable. he made an extremely dumb purchase
How many times does he have to say "choppy" and "pop-in"?! "Oh look, the game's choppy. Yeah, it's choppin' up. Uhh, the game looks choppy." "Look at that pop-in! Did you see the pop-in!? Look at the pop-in!" Like fuckin' hell, okay, we believe the game is choppy and pop-in. We have eyes for ourselves, champ.
+Rhayader He works like a sitcom. Some classic DSP catch phrases include: "AHAHAHA", "Idiot", "Okay", "I WAS BLOCKING", "Online X" and of course the quintessential Snort.
The game hasn't even started annnnnnnnnd....... he's moaning "ugh an un-skipable cut scene". Nice one Phil you got me really hype for this gameplay!! Yeeesh..
The fact that he is testing with RAGE, a horribly optimized game on PC, as well as trying to stream 60 FPS constantly with the best quality is fucking dumb. Also love how he spent 3k on a PC without research.
I have money to move across the country for no reason, buy a huge tv and a 3k pc I dont even know how to turn on but I need your support because I need money for my back problems, just after I feed the hamsters and vlog about where we ate out today.
I love how everyone is like "ugh, didn't overclock". You do NOT need to overclock to play games at 1080 60 - just don't stream, capture and play at the same time...
He likes to spend money. He has 3 desktops now! One that he just bought a year ago, and he also has some MSI gaming laptop. He's out of control with his spending habits but will tell you that he's been saving.
HatesStupidPeople194 He won't ever get his back fixed, he then can't use it as an excuse to not do things. Especially since PandaLee claims she has a bad back too.
Phil's first mistake (among many) was playing a game on high settings whilst recording and streaming all at the same time on just one machine ( presumably recording and streaming in high quality). Also what game was he "trying" to play?
I believe he was trying to stream and record the game at 1080p with 60 FPS all on the same computer. Obviously, his hardware was not capable of it. But this is what happens when you don't do your research and just blindly buy shit like Phil did.
I want to get into PC gaming. Although, it seems so complex. "Do I have the right parts, tools, etc."? Does anyone have any serious tips. So that I don't end up like this guy?
What just shocks me is that he didn't test his setup out before he went live. Maybe he should have setup a private stream that nobody could see and then try and run his PC and see how everything ran. Then he could have done some troubleshooting on his own instead of broadcasting his stupid exploits for everyone to see and laugh at. He'll just never learn!
Well him with his spending spree will most likely be the nail in the coffin in his finances. His views and subs are lower than he thinks. Hope he likes living in a broken cardboard box.
Lol computer genius that's a nice one. Why do you need a 3K computer anyway? I mean, I have a 900 dollar desktop and it can run games well. I guess he should of learn how research if that's even in his dictionary.
Eh...my PC floats somewhere in the middle of what most serious pc gamers would call "average" and "insane", spent almost 2k in total. It really depends on what you're looking for and what your finances look like. If you have the budget to splurg on that 512gb SSD instead of the 256 one, or a slightly heftier PSU, why not?
Well done DSP, choose the 1 game, THE ONE GAME, out of all the ones on earth, that has infamous pop in and framerate issues. I mean, it's not like any other games would've done it better, like say, the Crysis series, or Far Cry 3, or you know, any other game you could have looked up with a 5 second google search. But you know, buying a PC and expect it to tell you everything is what I'd expect from you. EDIT: So it played fine on your last PC but not this one? And this cost you $3000?...Laugh harder
Honestly it could be a plethora of things wrong with it. The graphics card should be too strong for the CPU to handle or the PSU can't handle the total output of everything. There could be various things wrong with this "choppy" pc
Krissj100 From what I heard, people were leaving comments like Phil got ripped off, he wasted money, and/or he's a fool for spending $3k on that PC. That and the video received 3x the thumbs down.
I actually don't understand how this runs that badly on that set up. I was / still am running a 3570k with a gtx 680 with this exact game and I remember it running everything fine like 2 years ago. For reference Phil's using a 256 GB SATA-III ssd, EVGA Superclocked GTX 780, 16 gigs of ram, on an ASUS Sabertooth X79 ATX running windows 8.1 with 1000W power supply. imgur.com/a/XWmq2#0
Something must be broken because that computer is performing so much worse than my so much worse computer. I've been using this x4 2.8 processor for ages.
Goddammit even I would know that I would need to tinker with the options first if it didn't run properly, and I just got the damn thing! How the hell did this guy pass college? He just stands there doing nothing waiting for the chat to help him with everything!
Tbh he probably has the settings maxed If he lowered em hed probably be running ok Might have to risk losing his "1080p, 60fps" but i mean Which is more important, 1080p 60fps? Or actually gettin ur shit working?
+Alex Patton (VORARATH200) I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks he's a certified computer technician because one time he actually managed to figure out how to install more RAM in his computer.
Maxes out the cpu, mentions streaming at 1080p at 60 frames a second and playing computer games. Doesn’t even think that maybe he should change his setting and not the games settings
When derpsydephil said how he could play Rage on his old gaming pc, that's because for starters, at the time he wasnt capturing AND streaming on top of the fact he's doing both at 1080p 60. Now, obviously with a computer like that, anyone with a brain could at LEAST record at 1080p and not have any framerate issues. Hell, anyone who doesnt want to record or stream with it could run just about ANY game at a good quality and have a very good framerate. Give ME a 3000 dollar pc like this and I guarentee you I wouldn't have any complaints ever.
Unless you we're planning on coding for NASA, no one would ever need a $3000 pc. The shit DSP got could've been build for half that easy. Hell he even had hard drive coolers lol
For me the game runs OK but its the movement ( look+walk ) that seems laggy or am i missing the point here. All so of all games why rage people know there is pop in and such why not crysis or witcher ? again i dont do pc gaming ( have an OLD laptop and i play pretty much only play retro games now :D )
The pc he got is not a lemon, he massively overpaid for it, but the components are good. There are no such things as "parts optimized for streaming" and "parts for gaming" that's nonsense, however sounds that since he just paid 3000$ he just went and cranked every setting on his capturing software to the highest possible to ensure maximum quality. If he was using OBS with the slow preset, there's no CPU out there that can do that at 1080p/60 fps. I don't watch the main channel to avoid giving him my money, did he disclose more info on his settings/programs used apart from "DURR PAID 3k$ GONNA STREAM 1080P 60FPS!!1 That just shows that he did little to prior research on what the components he was getting would allow him to do and threw his money at the pc shop without a care, guess that's easy to do when he comes by it as easily as he does.
Hes getting smarter he did switch to OBS today so he won't have that CPU bottleneck that xsplit is, using OBS he should be able to Stream & Capture PC Games on High settings.
How much do you want to bet his "choppiness" is caused by trying to stream the damn game at 1920x1080 and his CPU/GPU can't handle all the dumb bullshit going on at the same time with max settings
Jacob Eagle amd phenom II x6 1090t 3,2ghz 100 bucks, 8 gig ram 50 or so, 280x gpu 250 bucks, had no troubles to play anything at ultra at all, picked each part by myself after doing research for whats best.
I'm not from the US but isn't it possible to send the PC back if you're not happy with it? In Europe you can return such stuff within 14 days. How could he blow 3k like that? You could buy 2 solid gaming PC's.
That fake laugh that he does when he's frustrated is so creepy. He's gonna climb a tower with a rifle one of these days when that laugh doesn't work anymore.
My god XD
I want that on video; it'll make a great edited video piece years in the future.
he wont be able to figure out hes supposed to take the cap off the scope and be like "DOOOD WHATS WITH THESE BUGGED SCOPE MECHANICS I CANT FUCKING SEE ANYTHING THERES NOTHING I CAN DO HAHAHAHAHA"
That’s his Cope Choke. It’s a well known fact that DSP doesn’t laugh, he just opens up his mouth and chokes on the air.
It's hilarious how you can hear his PC absolutely struggling in the background. Sounding like a jet engine.
$3k down the toilet. I still find it funny that he punked out and blocked comments and likes.
I hope Chris is watching this so he can laugh because Phil deserves it.
Karma has been stuck, it seems. XD
I love the moments of silence in this. He knows he got taken. He knows he's got a 3k piece of shit. It's tearing him up inside. I love it.
$3000 and has to lower graphics settings. Won't lie, I am fucking loving this.
Aren't they window shopping in that and happen to spot it?

* All of the above.
Soon he's not going to have the luxury of pushing the blame to other people, and by then it's going to be too little, too late.
He'll find a way to blame it on Chris Furtado.
None of the above, the real answer is obviously Kojima.
TheAlmightyVox no it was none other than Red Herring and Old Man Jenkins trying to plot a conspiracy to ensure the PC doesn't work.
DarklinWolf Bugged PC build mechanics, dood!
the time has come
Look at Phil appreciating all those AMAZING graphics and voice acting! Soemthing he claims is LOST among the gaming community, thanks Minecraft!
It's funny how phil insults chris for the whole computer thing being a lemon and Chris was an amateur at making his pc. All these years later this never gets old. He could have spent $1200 on a gaming PC that would have done the exact same job, if not better.
>maxes out settings
>doesn't play around with settings before streaming
>wonders why the game is pooping
"It's chawppy! Look at the pawp in!"
The game is CHAPPY! LOOK AT THE PHAPPIN WHY AM THAXIC
Phil should have spent his 3K on his mortgages instead.
How many times does he have to say "choppy" and "pop-in"?!
"Oh look, the game's choppy. Yeah, it's choppin' up. Uhh, the game looks choppy."
"Look at that pop-in! Did you see the pop-in!? Look at the pop-in!"

He's in denial.
The game hasn't even started annnnnnnnnd....... he's moaning "ugh an un-skipable cut scene". Nice one Phil you got me really hype for this gameplay!! Yeeesh..
the ps3 version of rage runs better than his 3,000$ PC can run it HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Funnily enough, so could a 700$ pc
Just wondering what anime/manga your profile pick is from?
Ryan Dicksander it's a pic I randomly found, it's not from an anime, at least I don't think it is
Black Star Oh, well thanks anyway.
Ryan Dicksander Its Superman, not sure which comic but its definitely Superman.
3000 my ass. For 3000 i'd have a bat computer.
It's 2024 and it's still choppy as fuck
I was just like this when I heard about this video then when outside remembering it...
Dumb and Dumber - Lloyd's laugh [HD]
It would be funny to see DSP fumble with the BIOS settings and then make his pc unbootable because he screwed around with the SATA controller...
Hell, let him change the boot order and then complain "what do i do, dood?"
The fact that he is testing with RAGE, a horribly optimized game on PC, as well as trying to stream 60 FPS constantly with the best quality is fucking dumb. Also love how he spent 3k on a PC without research.
Research?
cklambo Research as to what parts to buy for the PC. That is unless he bought a pre-built PC, but those are almost always overpriced crap.
Wooow.... He has absolutely no idea what he's doing or what he's talking about. And he "builds pcs for a hobby" yeah, and Im the queen of Uzbekistan.
I'm guessing he just picked out the most expensive parts and didn't even think of any conflicts.
"I used to build computers as a hobby!"
I have money to move across the country for no reason, buy a huge tv and a 3k pc I dont even know how to turn on but I need your support because I need money for my back problems, just after I feed the hamsters and vlog about where we ate out today.
Phil, I thought you built gaming PC's as a hobby?

I love how everyone is like "ugh, didn't overclock". You do NOT need to overclock to play games at 1080 60 - just don't stream, capture and play at the same time...
That poor CPU struggling.
He doesn't even need a "beast" PC because he barely plays PC games to begin with.
Money well spent...
yeah but he still can't get his back fixed....
He likes to spend money. He has 3 desktops now! One that he just bought a year ago, and he also has some MSI gaming laptop. He's out of control with his spending habits but will tell you that he's been saving.

f*ckin' shame on you for quoting that _OVERRATED_ show!
Phil's first mistake (among many) was playing a game on high settings whilst recording and streaming all at the same time on just one machine ( presumably recording and streaming in high quality).
Also what game was he "trying" to play?
Dan Almeida The PC version of RAGE. From what I've read, it had a bunch of issues with framerates and stuttering.
"Old game" Okay, I heard enough...
Is he running the game off the CPU and not a Graphics Card???
I believe he was trying to stream and record the game at 1080p with 60 FPS all on the same computer. Obviously, his hardware was not capable of it. But this is what happens when you don't do your research and just blindly buy shit like Phil did.
I love just because the computer is $3000 he assumes its going to run perfectly and have no problems whatsoever.
I want to get into PC gaming. Although, it seems so complex.
"Do I have the right parts, tools, etc."?
Does anyone have any serious tips. So that I don't end up like this guy?
"This is why people don't do things on PC" PFFFFFT he really is trying to erase twitch from his memory
Deus FFBE Gaming well 4 years later Pandalee dumped him and he’s living in Washington with his pet Kat.
You know, I'm not very good with computers, but even I know better than to pay $3000 for one.
Also that alarm sound that is like metal on metal? That's Phil's hamster wheel of a brain nearly exploding over how badly he's fucked up.
"I use to be one of you"
Guys, the game is CHAHPPY
Well done DSP, choose the 1 game, THE ONE GAME, out of all the ones on earth, that has infamous pop in and framerate issues.

Phillip just got a taste of poetic justice.
60 FPS on Rage? Dang, son you sure that's a $3000 PC?
Did anyone else look at the power source on the computer he bought? I wasn't even sure if it could handle the power the computer required
Honestly it could be a plethora of things wrong with it. The graphics card should be too strong for the CPU to handle or the PSU can't handle the total output of everything. There could be various things wrong with this "choppy" pc
Phil has nobody to blame but himself.
nah. he will blame the company that he got his pc from
WrathOfTHeOlimpus or fans who gave him advice
I wonder if he even bothered to update his bios, or any other drivers becides the GPU...
"This is why people don't do stuff on pc!" - DSP
Huh???
Phil has a lot of poorly received videos, I wonder just what made the feedback on this one video so bad that he ended up pussing out and censoring it.
Krissj100 From what I heard, people were leaving comments like Phil got ripped off, he wasted money, and/or he's a fool for spending $3k on that PC. That and the video received 3x the thumbs down.
I think it's because he's actually ashamed of himself here. It feels good seeing him so shocked, with nobody to blame this time but himself.
also this is like one of the only cutscenes that matter in rage
I actually don't understand how this runs that badly on that set up. I was / still am running a 3570k with a gtx 680 with this exact game and I remember it running everything fine like 2 years ago.
For reference Phil's using a 256 GB SATA-III ssd, EVGA Superclocked GTX 780, 16 gigs of ram, on an ASUS Sabertooth X79 ATX running windows 8.1 with 1000W power supply.

is it possible hes running it of the integrated graphics card?
The game is Chappy
Something must be broken because that computer is performing so much worse than my so much worse computer. I've been using this x4 2.8 processor for ages.
Why isn't he doing the sensible thing and using shadowplay/Dxtory to capture and stream?
Sensible?
HIs dictionary mechanics are bugged,
he has a new pc and doesnt want to see the cutscene? i mean thats what looks the best....
That's right the pc you just bought is about as powerful as your old pc when you try to stream shit.... Feel that sting that's pride fuckin wit u
correct me if im wrong but streaming at 1080p hoping for 60 fps while having 16x anti aliasing on is a no go...
Goddammit even I would know that I would need to tinker with the options first if it didn't run properly, and I just got the damn thing! How the hell did this guy pass college? He just stands there doing nothing waiting for the chat to help him with everything!
Woooooowwww three thousand dollars
nkah kha kha kha kha
I love how he couldn't care less about the story
Tbh he probably has the settings maxed
If he lowered em hed probably be running ok
Might have to risk losing his "1080p, 60fps" but i mean
Which is more important, 1080p 60fps?
Or actually gettin ur shit working?
lol phil lies about his "computer" hobby which he never had any. :)
+Alex Patton (VORARATH200) I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks he's a certified computer technician because one time he actually managed to figure out how to install more RAM in his computer.
Bro you cant run rage on max with 3.5ghz 6 core?
he still the same
It's chahpy
DSP might stay with a console, he got what deserves
I play RAGE on my PC and runs just fun, so he waste $3000 on his new PC that runs like shit
*****
The correct term is tactical espionage ;)
mardukalpha Really?
***** no it was a headcrab zombie.
that's why people should play only on superior consoles, trust me a 30 year virgin like me with full life expirience knows only the facts!
Maxes out the cpu, mentions streaming at 1080p at 60 frames a second and playing computer games. Doesn’t even think that maybe he should change his setting and not the games settings
for 3k you should have dual nice ass cards and a good i7

Out of curiosity, what are his computer's specs? I'm surprised it's struggling this much with a 4930k..
Well the thing is, his PC does not overclock which include his RAM sticks(DDR3 1600mhz). His choice, not CyberPC.
he most likely has malware I bet
***** He has an 4930k but it doesn't overclock? Sounds like the motherboard is not very capable then.
ccricers It's a X79 not a Z79 motherboard so yeah.
*****
So what does that mean? :o
I was able to do what he wanted, with my PC being a 700 prebuilt.
wow ID tech 5 was always known for texture pop in and even on max settings these games look awful
CHOPPY
STILL
LOOK
Why didn't he test counter strike
Am I the only one who plays games on the PC with the lowest graphics setting?
For me the game runs OK but its the movement ( look+walk ) that seems laggy or am i missing the point here. I don't watch the main channel to avoid giving him my money, did he disclose more info on his settings/programs used apart from "DURR PAID 3k$ GONNA STREAM 1080P 60FPS!!1
That just shows that he did little to prior research on what the components he was getting would allow him to do and threw his money at the pc shop without a care, guess that's easy to do when he comes by it as easily as he does.
Ironic how DSP says RAGE is the fastest game he can showcase but when RAGE is literally around 20 GB to install and is optimized like garbage.
He should have used Crysis or TR13.
$3000 for a gaming rig? People usually setup a great one with less than that amount themselves! Imagine building one with that amount O_o
I don't think he knows he needs to install the drivers..
Rage runs at a solid 60 on my crappy laptop.
$3000? Pwhahahahahahaha.
I'd love to own a top notch gaming PC .
The pahpins doode
he needs a dual pc set up or a gtx titian black lol hes trying to do too much at once

I payed around $800 on my PC on an absolutely overpriced country (Brazil). And I bet I can stream Rage better...
I paid around 600 for mine, I could likely stream better
+Christian Mac Lmao, i dunno man, i upgraded my Pc into a Semi-Monster with just 400 Bucks.
+DieHardjagged whats your build?
Jacob Eagle amd phenom II x6 1090t 3,2ghz 100 bucks, 8 gig ram 50 or so, 280x gpu 250 bucks, had no troubles to play anything at ultra at all, picked each part by myself after doing research for whats best.
+DieHardjagged Nice. Custom PCs are the best kind of PCs if you really think about it.
Why not buy a 2k computer to play 2K's games?
Yeah, I know... bad pun. :P
I've just built my own PC for £790 (about $1200). Still runs better than his $3k potato
I'm not from the US but isn't it possible to send the PC back if you're not happy with it?
In Europe you can return such stuff within 14 days.
How could he blow 3k like that? You could buy 2 solid gaming PC's.
Lol 3 grand. I spent 1000 $ on my Christmas present. A PS4, ps camera 4 controllers, and some games. Yay me :)
How... Does a PC $3000 HAVE to lower the settings for this?
