@@nuarshikamaru someone would have had to expect Chester is going to.. you know.. which no one knew it was coming... anyway, happy for Emily, kinda deserves the recognition and I wish them happy future
@AppNasty i came here to hear her real voice, wich is not the voice she is forcing herself to sing in linkin park , i guive 2-3 years of the linkin park regime and she is going to damage her voice for good! She is trying to imitate chester in LINKIN PARK wich is a bad idea to do because no one sing like chester... ! I could sense she was forcing her voice to imitate chester then i came her and i have the confirmstion...LP MADE A BAD CHOICE...ITS NOT GOING TO LAST 5 YEARS..
@@maitregab4997 Maybe. I think she has a similar sound to Chester even in some of her older soongs where she almost screams. I also agree she is a newbie at this level of screaming so if she plans to make it last then she needs some good training so she doesnt destroy her voice. I also hate all this controversy with her and Scientology. I think shes perfect for the LP job and hate that she made some poor choices. I hope a happy resolve happens.
It blows my mind just how many different styles and influences I can hear in her voice from song to song. I think she could probably sing just about any genre she wants. I like the band too, just wish I would have discovered them sooner.
Agnès Bttn Uhm. Dead Sara had a pretty big hit song on their FIRST album. They were never really that alternative. Plus, they are TRYING to go mainstream. Their music will not be affected at all, scince that is their aim to begin with.
Agnès Bttn foo fighters? well they became great, queen? they did pretty well, rolling stones? yeah they kept going. etc. etc. some bands start living when they get fame. mainstream doen't have to be bad as long as they can keep out of the control of a record company forcing them something.
+Patrick Rosencrans Halestorm.. disappointment live, I'm afraid. I walked out after two songs. the first band though, 'Nothing More' was a real firework!!
+Patrick Rosencrans too bad hailstorm does not have a single good original song. I'd say Dead Sara is in a completely different league than the bands you mentioned.. no offence
In a perfect world, they would be headliners every year. In a perfect world, they would top the charts. In a perfect world, they would be as big as Halestorm, if not better. Halestorm are good, no doubt about it, but Dead Sara are something really special. I hope they get even more successful than they are right now. What a shame...
It was just a little over three years ago (when I was really getting serious about music) when I found "Weatherman"...blew me away. Now three years later and they're coming back with another kickass album. I'm impressed. Part of me wants them to get the recognition they deserve; the other part always wants them to be my little secret...so I don't have to be that guy that says "I knew them before they were big" to all my friends.
I'm digging the more psychedelic/stoner rock stuff. I also think it improves on the second or third listen, there's some cool shit they do that takes some time to fully settle in your brain.
Criminally, criminally underrated. Saw them open for Muse in 2013 and they were perhaps the best opening act I've ever seen. And that was before this song had even come out.
There are currently three bands that are destined for greatness. This is one of 'em. In case you were wondering the three are Sturgill Simpson, Dead Sara, and Alabama Shakes. In that order. Of course this is just like my opinion man. Sometimes people don't see it right away. White Stripes, Sublime, and The Black Keys come to mind as bands that took some time for people to realize were great.
+bobby bryant Hm. A better shot at getting big than Die Mannequin or Nico Vega? I don't think so. Dead Sara is quite like those bands but less interesting. (Of course 'interesting' doesn't generally make the charts.) Now, Wolf Alice, they'll probly be going places. Speaking of "Mona Lisa''... Alabama Shakes and Royal blood have already made it, imo. Look at Google Trends. R.B. seems like the next Neon Trees or Kings of Leon (not necessarily musically).
This is not what I expected at all, but that's definitely not a bad thing! I love, love, LOVE this! Come Play Higher Ground VT, or Clifton Park NY sometime please!
+John Huldt If you get a chance to see them live I'd recommend it. I've seen them a couple times over the years. Great live band (as well as on record). Plus if you have questions, ask them, all 4 of them are incredibly sweet folks.

FonziHEY Of course dude, they leave their discographic label. Make up their own. Get public funding. Don't make a big publicitary campaign. All to say they "sold out". Right.
Can't believe these guys haven't blown up. I thought their self titled album was probably one of the best debut albums I've heard in a VERY long time......... but then Royal Blood came out and killed it with their debut in 2014, haha. she have some country vibe in her voice and also sing very well. LP 4ever.
Stoked for Emily in Linkin Park and as a longtime fan equally pleased the Dead Sara is finally getting more recognition.
แต่ต้องยุบวงDeadsaraนะ
Her voice is pure magical
It blows my mind just how many different styles and influences I can hear in her voice from song to song. I think she could probably sing just about any genre she wants. I like the band too, just wish I would have discovered them sooner.
Emily, this, yes...all of it. Glad you're with LP. Lookin forward to the new album!!
I’m kinda like yes too
This feels 90ish. Why the hell aren't these guys HUGE?!
Wait for the new wave of fans brought here from LP.
Well done Em, well deserved 🤘🏻
Amazing discovery!! Fu**ck you Oasis
My mom showed me this. Thanks mom, I will never doubt your music choices again.
hey my parents gave me meat loaf in 1977 when I was 4 and I'm still into it the singer and the food lol
My uncle showed me this too. He even introduced me to his music.
Always listen to your mother.
Same-
Your Mam has good taste
LP fan she not gonna stand quite. She will rock.
Been watching this band since no one knew who the hell they were. Love her voice, and still think they are under rated.
Me too lol literally no one knew about them and I went to see them live after hearing one song lol
the hipster is strong with these ones
With the right publicity this song could be topping charts. Oh well...
Agnès Bttn Uhm. Dead Sara had a pretty big hit song on their FIRST album. They were never really that alternative. Plus, they are TRYING to go mainstream. Their music will not be affected at all, scince that is their aim to begin with.

The charts don't play rock music though.
Radio Raven yand still muse for example is 19 in the top 200. and the rolling stones are 31. and if the rolling stones aren't rock. what the hell is?
Dead Sara, Meg Myers The Pretty Reckless and Hailstorm=a tour i would just flip for!
Lzzy Hale and Emily would destroy together. That'd be a kickass show.
+Patrick Rosencrans Halestorm.. disappointment live, I'm afraid. I walked out after two songs. the first band though, 'Nothing More' was a real firework!!
+Christian Schulz Totally! With both their awesome voices, they'd be unstoppable.

what are you talking about hailstorm writes all there music. with min co writers. check your facts. thats an all star lineup!
Heck Yeah, fuzzy groove with a raspy voice. I'M IN!
The 'raspy' part of her voice reminds me a little of Alannah Myles.
In a perfect world, they would be headliners every year. In a perfect world, they would top the charts. In a perfect world, they would be as big as Halestorm, if not better.
Halestorm are good, no doubt about it, but Dead Sara are something really special. I hope they get even more successful than they are right now.

Her voice is definitely damn special!
Jesus! Great song. Amazing vocals.
Comment j'ai pu louper ça ? Merci LP de me l'avoir fait découvrir !!!!
God damn this song is so good. Leads you in slow, then leaves you banging your head.
What a fantastic track. Epic vocals, and Siouxsie tuned down to C# for some awesome sludge. Love it.
Epic track, what a voice!
How is this not getting any hype. I don't even really listen to this type of music but this song rocks.
I am at least 100 of those views. So sick, disgusting, disturbed, sweet, honest, sexual, vengeful, addictive song ever. I'm in love.
I got to know about Dead Sara from NFS: Most Wanted (2012) that featured Weatherman. Since then, I've been addicted to them. They're underrated af.
This needs more views.
With Emily joining Linkin Park, viewership of all of Dead Sara's music videos are now exponentially growing.
It was just a little over three years ago (when I was really getting serious about music) when I found "Weatherman"...blew me away. After all this years I reterns to this song. Fkng great song
New Dead Sara album, finally! I know it wasnt that long but it felt like forever!
How about Chris's Bass work....outstanding
What an AWESOME band and voice!
Saw them in Atlanta in January and didn't get to meet them beause we had a baby to get home to but WOW. My husband and I loved them!

I also think it improves on the second or third listen, there's some cool shit they do that takes some time to fully settle in your brain.
Asushlo fully agree
I f***ing love Dead Sara! New song and I have it on repeat right now! Blues, Grunge, Gospel and sweat drenched Rock!
Love this song ❤️

I've had this song on repeat non stop for the last two days. Goddamn it's the best thing I have heard in ages. Music sucks so much these days.
Hey voice is so perfect. This band is perfect.
i have only just acquired the ability to post on here. this song/band are funking magnificent. i just wish they could get some acknowledgement.
OMG! I love this music!
Soul and sound true.
I just discovered Dead Sara after seeing an ad for them gigging in L.A. in LA Weekly Magazine! VERY cool!!

It might just be because of the theme of the video, but does anyone else think that Emily is even more attractive than usual in this video?
Princess Sparkle I don't know, man. She might look like that to you. To me she's just plain hot everywhere.
Princess Sparkle I think she cut/colored her hair, and maybe lost a little weight. I was able to meet her in person and she is very beautiful.
This song is incredible, but I think the theme of the video is unfortunate. Great editing but...
She's pretty all the time
LOVE this new single and can't wait to hear the whole album! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!
This is fucking awesome. Who produced this song? It's killer.
I'm about 90% sure it was recorded at Dave Grohl's studio. Using the same Neve mixing board that was used for Nirvana's Nevermind album. Manly tones.
Thank you. Yeah, sounds killer!
