Technically it's not mandatory if you're sick/unable due to illness but even the most sick of people have the desire to try to fast.... and usually they try even a little bit, if they are able to try at all. ie. diabetic family members of mine who have kidney issues, other health issues that require they hydrate often and eat on time... they still try. lol. because that's how important it is. she doesn't see it the same tho.
If u have diabetes u absolutely do not have to. My exes mom did still and was fine (it actually helped her diabetes slightly) but it’s not obligatory when you are ill or on your period but you should do other things instead like donate money etc.

I also have constant "food noise" and a health condition that makes it hard for me to go without food. I went to the doctor to get medication and have worked my way up to a 20 hour fast. I've started making all my meals at home and my lunch fits in a small bento box. Like yes it sucks my life is set to hard mode but not doing anything about it or complaining just makes me closer to dying.
It's crazy that she cannot even get through the night without eating. She doesn't want to count calories bc she knows she's going way over. Maybe the changes she's making will help her lose some weight up front, but she's going to plateau quickly.
I think she is afraid of the independence that the weight loss will grant her. She has depended on people all her life. Weight loss means doing more things for yourself and more responsibilities she doesn’t want that. She wants people to cater to her.
I eat in the morning eggs and toast Then lunch 9 hours later then dinner 4 hours later I don’t eat anything after dinner . I had my period and I’ve smacked on sugary snacks and eat twice as much as this week but. when I have my period I’m always hungry 🤦♀️
2lbs is nothing really when you're that size and it's most likely not fat loss. I lose 2lbs in water weight overnight sometimes depending on how many carbs I've eaten 🤷🏼♀️
That's true, you weigh less in the morning than in the evening after you've eaten during the day I wouldn't call just 2 lbs any weight loss to be honest
