This was a really fun one, wondering what the missing piece was gonna be.
Hey, if you ever wanted an idea for a long video nobody but me would watch, theres a program called BadukAi that has 29x29 board options, I love it. More possibility, more choice, more territory to manage, and more time.
It would be interesting to see how a high level guy's considerations change as the board scales up and how threat priorities may be affected.
Plus 900 or so moves a match is just that much more content 😉
Good thumbnail- my only regret is i didnt find this channel earlier
DONT THEM THEY BOTH THREW

Fierce game.
i hope this Byun does not also plays StarCraft 2 on Turnaments :D
sooo you're saying that adding cute anime girls to the thumbnail increases clicks? 😅
You're saying it doesn't? 😍🤑
This one i used years ago. Thought it was fitting for this game
Rare Byun L :(
True, but still a fun game! He definitely has a bold style more professionals would be lucky to adopt

Every AI is fond of the R3 move, but I don't think I know of one that insists on it. If you just put some other reasonable move down, AFAIK they *all* agree that the 3x3 obsession is a bot-quirk that humans need not copy. So I am curious if this is just pro-meta to do that or if there's something I don't know about the most powerful AIs?
Perhaps the reason is that on an empty board bots do choose 3*3 as the strongest move to 4*4 and they never choose other reasonable moves because they lose just a bit.
But humans rarely go 3*3 instantly and by the time they want to go for it, it's no longer recommended by a bot.
Basically as long as there are AI moves on the board, they can quickly become not so AI if opponent chooses to play in an unusual manner.
Yeah, it's like 0.1 point better than kakari, but before it was consider just bad. Now AI showed us that not only is playable but they actually prefer it, so it's normal for pros and amateurs alike to want to learn and use it
