Beautiful jingles! As a Brit-American living in Dallas, PAMS was obviously the gold standard back in the days of (pirate) Radio London and the early days of Radio One and Radio Two. But seeing a British jingle company creating some awesome material, fills me with joy! Good to see Paul Jones staying busy long after Manfred Mann!
The sonic logo was changed to a new 7-note version in 2013. The previous one had been devised by a different company and this led to a rights issue. Wise Buddah resang the jingle package to incorporate the new sonic logo and the new style of emphasis for the name of the station.
I do like these jingles of Radio 2 & considering I listen to Radio 2 at home, in the car & at work they are ear-catching & I didn't know what or who was involved in these jingles until I came here! The first jingle seems to be played only on Friday afternoons on Serious Jockin' (with no 'g' lol). I do like the Popmaster & the Classical B jingles & the News in jingle & am glad that the news pips on 7am, 8am & 5pm follow the News in jingle which I think is better than the previous arrangement.
Huey Morgan is the front man front man from Fun Loving Criminals, Clare Teal is a Jazz singer and broadcaster on BBC Radio 2... not quite sure who the Vanessa Feltz male singer is though, can anyone shed some light on that one?
Am not sure either who the male singer is on the Vanessa Feltz jingle Mike The Music Man but Huey Morgan also is a broadcaster on BBC Radio 2 with his personal record collection show on early Saturday mornings from 4am-6am. I catch the tail end of his show as I like to listen to the 'Sounds of the Sixties' show by Tony Blackburn, a great show to listen to!
Just goes to show how much the BBC put in to their Jingle packages!
This was great... Love Radio 2...great selection of music and some cool jingles to boot.
Brilliant musicians and vocals

making jingles is not a joke... hours and says of work just for one of those jingles, but well worth it in the end
Great work, amazing!
88 to 91 FM, BBC Radio 2
I wanna hear a 1970’s and 1980’s themed one!😍😍
Could never work out why they changed the jingles so soon after this update...

This is really amazing! I've been searching for "00's rock " for ages! Thanks a lot!
And Craig Blundell on drums, amazing musician!
Very good
0:18, Robbie McIntosh on guitar (The Pretenders, Paul McCartney, John Mayer).
I listen to pop master just for the jingle alone
usually signals tea break time at work
would like to know if it's Ken bruce doing the robotized 'pop master' at the end
Bravo!
Great
But who are the male singers? They're not given any credit. Love this by the way.

Nice to see the license payers money enabling so much employment. ;)
Radio 2 was better then. Less variety these days so switched to 6Music.

Now the jingle is rubbish. It's like "Eighty eight to ninety one FM, bbc, rE*DI*O twoo". There's like this weird voice to it.
who's that gorgeous chick @ 2:03
Too OTT for me. No hate tho.
