It's in the same range as Essence and Catrice price wise. I've been using those 2 brands for decades (I'm 44) and their quality is often reasonable to awesome. They're both from Germany and their nail polishes (€1.99 - €3.99), mascaras, lip/eye liners and simple blush or bronzer are good, sometimes they have a good palette and Catrice has an amazing brow pencil. I think Soph is about to do a full face of Essence soon. It's available in the UK too. One thing very cheap drugstore brands don't - or maybe can't? - do is a decent shade range in base products. When you're very (cool toned) pale or have darker skin than an Italian (f.e) you can forget about it.

Last Sunday a plebiscite was held, and though the majority of people voted against the proposed new constitution, our government announced 85% voted for it. The same situation happened with the president election 2020. Our voices are not heard in this country anymore. In my city, more than 500 people were arrested for protesting against the war in Ukraine. Sanctions wich are introduced now against Russia influence us directly, 'cause our president supports Putin. Our prices have doubled for the past week. People are losing money. All of my saving are nothing now, because prices have risen significantly. Men are leaving the country because they are afraid they will be made to fight in the war. Nobody here supports the war. My colleagues went to Ukrain to fight against Russia's invasion. We are also afraid, because in every was Belarus always became a battlefield, and we cannot prevent it now

Around 18/19 years ago 17 had the most amazing mascara called Fat Lash. It came in a silver squeeze soft tube! It gave the longest thickest lashes and I’ve never found anything as fab. I wonder if anyone else remembers it?

Soph, we have a store in the US called Dollar General that has launched a brand of makeup/skincare called Believe Beauty..... everything is $5 and under. A lot of the makeup is made by the same place as Flower Beauty. The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump, and has replaced my high end foundations! And I love their mascaras and some other products, but they can be hit or miss much like you discovered with this brand! But, you never know when you'll find a holy grail!❤️❤️💋

One thing that I wish RUclipsrs wouldn't do is go easy on products just because the price is low. I don't want to buy something that's "good for the price" I want to buy makeup that is good PERIOD and these days there are so many low end products that outmatch even high end products that I feel like having a lower price is no longer an excuse for a product to not perform amazingly.
Could you do a low/zero/eco packaging products please? I love make up but the amount of plastic waste is insane. I could fill an landfill with the amount I must be responsible for in my life, and it does keep me up sometimes! Especially as make up is non-essential. I loved the video btw! 💖

I bought the blue mascara to try something new and it was so bad, it was still wet an hour after applying I was so disappointed but the bronze liquid eye liner is AMAZING and stayed on all through my work day. Such a mixed bag.

I picked up the liquid blush and liquid highlighter, I like the blush but it is very sheer, the highlighter is gorgeous and I like wearing them both on days where I'm not wearing much makeup.

If you use this line, i recommend using a moisturizer before to help with it looking dry (i use the nivea one)

I bought the blue mascara to try something new and it was so bad, it was still wet an hour after applying I was so disappointed but the bronze liquid eye liner is AMAZING and stayed on all through my work day. Such a mixed bag.
We don't even have a Boots in Belgium but I do love all your videos! I picked up the liquid blush and liquid highlighter, I like the blush but it is very sheer, the highlighter is gorgeous and I like wearing them both on days where I'm not wearing much makeup.
