Lake Eucumbene Trout Fishing Trip Early April 2024 With Trevor and Madeline

Lake Eucumbene is located in the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales Australia, it is the biggest lake in the Snowy Mountains Scheme which provides hydroelectricity and irrigation water, it is fed by the Eucumbene River and an underground tunnel from the much smaller Tantangara Reservoir which emerges at Providence Portal.lake Eucumbene sits at an altitude of 1200m and can experience extreme conditions at this high elevation.In this video i am staying at Braemar Bay Holiday Park for 6 nights with Trevor Willis and his daughter Madeline, we are fishing for Trout Trolling Lures, casting lures and a little bit of baitfishing, we are mainly fishing from our boats, the video is not solely focasing on the fishing alone i have tried to capture the whole fishing trip experience,at one stage i cook some smoked trout. I highly recomend Braemar Bay Holiday Park as the location is relatively sheltered and the owners Micheal and Peta go out of there way to make sure you have a pleasant stay.

Thanks Michael the biggest is 7.7lb 65cm casting a soft plastic right up one of the creeks that fish Was realeased hence why I might say in the video " I reckon casting gets the bigger fish" !
