Bahamut & Ifrit ▶ Throw + attack + retrieve works too well against Bahamut while simply dodge all attack with Brumal Form = extra ATB gain. ▶ When countdown starts, use Synergized Art of War + mashed attacks. Staggered bar will max within first or second countdown, easily. ▶ Ifrit is no threat if Yuffie equipped Fire + Elemental in armor slots. Ramuh ▶ I found Ramuh to be the most annoying one. Synergized Wind storm at the beginning for good measure. ▶ Air attacks + Brumal form works brilliantly well once again. ▶ Always be ready to perfect block Ramuh's lance attack to gain staggered bar. ▶ Once staggered, grandpa will go down easily due to low HP. Pride and Joy ▶ Easy slow robot once again, it will try to "catch" Sonon from the beginning so be sure to press L2 = free teleport/dodge. ▶ Air attack works great but do it from behind. ▶ Thundaga spam, it will staggered quickly then Banishment for max damage.
Also if you have a maxed out ele x fire on your armor you can literally stand in the fire in the P&J fight and be invincible, but jus be careful of the unblockables
@@albuchanan8628 Just a quick little damage during few seconds window before Bahamut attack again. If I threw shuriken + windstorm then it won’t be enough time. Just wanted to constantly dodge + mid-air attack. I’m not exactly good at this fight, since I couldn’t staggered Bahamut quickly. Just went for unusual methods that works.
Thanks for the strat! So much easier to have leeway of healing than tight timing windows for stun-lock. This method takes more time but is more reliable with room for errors. Got it after my second attempt!

I thought Top Secrets in base game was difficult. This killed me. Been stuck on it for days! But good news! You helped me kick it's butt! I've tried so many different guides and strategies and they just weren't working for me. I followed your moves and everything. Did the best I could (messed up more than a few times) but thanks to you, I've finally done it! Thank you so much for this! You can't imagine how frustrated I was and so annoyed! You are a God my good sir!! This definitely allowed me to breathe and relax a bit more compared to all the other guides! Thank you again!! Pride and Joy was the easiest part. Pop a couple Regens/Curagas when needed, Thundaga and Lightning Ninjutsu all the way, with a few Thunderous Banishments. Boom done! Ramuh took me a few tries, he kept getting me with his desperation move. Bahamut was easily the hardest part of this.

Looked through a variety of strategies, but this method / concept was the ONLY one that was fool-proof; since it deals with the actual concept / approach to overcome a plethora of situations - and NOT a step by step approach where every second counts. Toughest fight yet but learning from your video made it possible for me. My MP and HP materia were not maxed but I tried my luck. Only struggled with Pride and Joy with Sonon fainted at 1/4 hp left and my MP is zero. But old man Ramuh came to rescue and I finished it with Yuffie's limit break. What a nerve wrecking fight! The main stats of the character will look like this: Level 50, HP 8763, MP 116 Sonon Weapon: Marshalist’s Staff Armor: Firebird Armlet Accessory: Kindred Cord Materia Weapon: Healing, Magnify, Lightning, First Strike, HP Up, HP Up* Materia Armor: Steadfast Block, MP Up, MP Up Summon: Chocobo Chick Almost all materia maxed out. The main stats of the character will look like this: Level 50, HP 9999, MP 158 *This additional HP Up materia was not maxed out (4 stars AP 3846/5000), Sonon had an HP of 9999 already at 3 stars. During the fight with Pride and Joy Mk 0.5 I did not use any of the summons. It was very useful for me to turn on the Lightning Ninjutsu ability at the very beginning of the fight, in the meantime using the Brumal Form ability and the Thundaga spell. When Pride and Joy Mk 0.5 was staggered, I was unable to use the Synergized Windstorm ability. I had to use the Thunderous Banishment III ability, and finish him off with a Thundaga spell. Many thanks to the author of this video, for showing the usefulness of Brumal Form ability. Without using this ability, it would be hard to win anything here.

9 hours!!!!! BEAT THEM ALL!!! YEAH! My dumb self didn't know how to make our characters do the up & down attack that quickly builds stagger. God that would've saved me so much time. I had to like navigate the joystick to make em hop like that when attacking in sync. FINALLY! 👍🏿 AWESOME VIDEOS! wasn't as good as you but i did it.
A free teleport, I thought it was nice too. Other than that Sonon became a punching bags for Yuffie lol. Beam Cannon is annoying to dodge while never know if Sonon will block it or not.
Dood. Been trying the Blitz method for three days now and Ramuh was kicking my ass. Once I finally got that fight down I was getting smoked on P&J but I tried a hybrid of your method and Blitz and got it first try. I like the way you fight P&J way better than his. I just kept staying behind him and using lightning. Even fucked up and selected the wrong command a few times and still got it. I used Carbuncle summon with Sonnon and that freakin saved me. Thanks!
I’m glad the method was effective for you as well. Ramuh honestly was the most annoying but luckily very little HP. While P&J also have way less HP, more forgivable compared to the one from original Top Secrets.
Thanks for the great video and strategy. Was having a tough time on bahamut alone on my first attempt and just wasn't getting the right execution on some other strats with extra tight timing cannoball combos/thundaga stunlock combos + no heals for if things go wrong. This left me with room to breathe and recover if you missed a brumal/dodge timing or didnt get the pressure up enough to stop the ifrit summon in time. (Ironically i didnt need to heal very often, just about once per fight, plus you can use fire+elemental to clutch heal in 2/3 fights with this build). Now, only Weiss to go!

I beat the challenge today. But I gave Yuffie Elemental + Lighting, because Ramuh kept getting me. Even gave her a Revival Materia for good measure. The only thing that troubled me with Pride and Joy was The Beam Cannon. Still, a win is a win.
The old man Ramuh was annoying, I don't blame you. Imagine if he got high HP lol. You damn right, a win is a win. Glad to hear man. But now it's another long wait for the next game..
I didn't have too much trouble with Ramuh. I can solo him before Sonon joins the party in a fresh save file, so I just rinsed and repeated those strats. For Beam Cannon, if Yuffie has Parry, you can parry dodge out of the way with ease, so long as you are close enough to the boss. The one time this becomes an issue is when it decides it is going to move to the edge of the arena, as parry dodging behind it is much harder when its back is against the wall.
@@Taser9001 I'm too scared every time Beam Cannon about to shoot xD then failed to dodge properly, so this run was lucky how I able to consistently stunned Pride and finish it quickly.

any chance someone can do this for me via Share Play ? I have been trying this for aprox 2 weeks myself by leveling up materia by doing the simulator fights over & over again but I cant complete this whole fight any confident & willing volunteers ?

Any weapon is completely fine, skills points also whatever you prefer. Increased as many materia slots probably the most important thing. Precision defense definitely important (I think mine was regen). For Sonon, I focus more with his attack. Synergized attacks mostly use for all the battles. Magic, not so much just for a support. He just need good amount of ATB boost support (from materia, skills, equipment). Let me know how it goes. Leveling up materia put me to sleep lol..

@@Sternreign Can you tell me what went wrong ? It's difficult to get Bahamut staggered by 2nd countdown pose. 3rd countdown should be guaranteed. Lots of damage you can do during staggered (over 50% of HP) Ifrit summoned, you will be immune because of Fire + Elemental materia on connected armor slots. So you can focus on Bahamut just fine.
@@roymariogaming Probably figured it out by now, but you need to still be synergized in order to continuously attack. If you break the synergy at any point, it DOES NOT work.

@@keimercado9205 Ah............. don't give up. Take a break as needed. I think Cannon Beam is the only attack you must dodge. Try to be in good position, as always (near Pride, and stay behind it). The rest of attacks can't do anything as long as you keep attacking on the side or behind it.

I found a better guide which takes care of Bahamut before he summons ifrit. It's a step by step guide rather than just attacking.

I just saw a strat just like this, except they used Haste
I tried haste + magnify but it didn’t do much for me, maybe I wasn’t fast enough with using commands

@@keimercado9205 Ah............. don't give up. Take a break as needed. I think Cannon Beam is the only attack you must dodge. Try to be in good position, as always (near Pride, and stay behind it).
The rest of attacks can't do anything as long as you keep attacking on the side or behind it.
I finished it!!! Forgot to update here. The Elemental Fire on Yuffie’s weapon helped :) Now I moved on to Weiss and I have not beaten him 🤣
@@keimercado9205 That’s great news to hear! Congrats. Bad news is Weiss, I tried few times it wasn’t fun at all (also failed miserably). There are ways to cheese the fight but still not fun..
can you beat pride and joy prototype again, but you destroy both arms before you defeat him, I've challenged many people and no one has succeeded, maybe you will be the first. if you can I will subscribe and like your 50 latest video
