I don't know. I just got the season 2 box set at a charity auction and it has a load of these with all kinds of people, only some of whom travelled with Hartnell.
They always have a cross-section of people from different eras. I guess its to give more variety.

I once made a ranking of actors who have played the Doctor in order of how enthusiastic they were about playing the role. Peter Davison came in dead last.
Like Eccleston, I just feel like he only did it for the money. Whereas with people like Colin and Tennant you can really tell they are actually fans of the series and really enjoy the fandom.
@josephchambers2000 Davison insisted that his credit in the closing titles be changed from Doctor who to The Doctor, because it wasn't lore accurate.
