I'm glad I found this. I don't like making flashcards, but I'll gladly write vocabulary words on a sheet of paper lol. I'm taking Spanish 102 at uni, y mi profesora asks us to tell the class about ways we like to learn Spanish. Now I can share this channel with my classmates. Mucha gracias y salud!
This is a great little video that really puts together a lot of different irregular preterite verbs for me. Just found your channel. I gave this one a like and subscribed to your channel. To bad you don't have more viewers. I predict that if you keep up the good work your channel will grow.
Hola Eric! Gracias por comentar :) I'm glad you found the video useful. I'd love more viewers but just knowing people like yourself find the videos useful keeps me going!
This is great, thank you. (Just a little comment, we do use 'ser' in the preterite all the time: Fue un partido fabuloso, Fuimos compañeras de clase (piso/trabajo), Fuiste una ingenua creyéndole, Fueron miembros del comité, Fui voluntaria de la Cruz Roja, Fue mi hermana quien me lo contó, Esta catedral fue ante una mezquita, Fue una suerte encontralo allí, Si no lo hice fue porque no me dio la gana, etc, etc etc.
@@Martín-v6q you’re quite right with the noun ‘disposal’, although as a verb I can’t think of any use of ‘to dispose’ in current usage that denotes making available, rather than throwing away. If I said ‘You can dispose of my car for your journey’ it just doesn’t work, but in Spanish it does: ‘Puedes disponer de mi carro para tu viaje’ 🙂
Great video. One small mistake, vio is not 2 syllables, it is one. I is a weak vowel and o is strong vowel. They create a diphthong, which is one syllable.
Great hack being fortunate enough to know this construction, its just a question for me of learning all the verbs that carry the construction in the pret. so many thanks for that. Is it possible to download your cheat sheets and can you increase the volume when you create the video's as I can only just hear you on max volume cheers.
Hola Dano, thanks for your comment 😊 If you follow the link from my channel homepage to my website you will find the download for the cheat sheet. Hopefully you’ll find my newer videos have much better volume and general production quality… it’s a shame I can’t increase the volume of older videos without removing them and re-uploading as admittedly the volume and audio quality isn’t great. It’s been a learning journey for me (and still is) so thanks for the feedback.
Hi, if you go to my channel and visit my link tree, there is a link to the Spanish with James website where you can download the cheat sheet for free 😊
Thanks a lot for this video. It was a huge mess for me before watching this. Now got it better.

We do use dispose to mean available in English. As in “I am at your disposal”, “These tools are at your disposal”.
