Thank you. You explain clearly.
Gracias!
I came to this video from another to say thank you for the helpful informational videos and they really helped.
I’m so glad you’ve found them useful ☺️

Cornmeal to make pancakes?
@@JohnA-l4g sort of 🤔😄 Colombian arepas are made with ground corn - a variety that isn’t sweet, but these ones are arepas de choclo which are made with corn more similar to what we call sweetcorn in the UK. It’s a very coarse flour/meal.
@@JohnA-l4g I’d say these are more similar to a sort of sweetcorn fritter, but circular. Arepas are always so hard to explain 🫓😅

My account started doing all that the time to everything, all the time everytime she talks. She stated going to church and began talking like that i guess she thinks it makes her sound holy or something but its freaking annoying everyone 😂
You made me a believer!

We do use dispose to mean available in English. As in “I am at your disposal”, “These tools are at your disposal”.
@@Martín-v6q you’re quite right with the noun ‘disposal’, although as a verb I can’t think of any use of ‘to dispose’ in current usage that denotes making available, rather than throwing away. If I said ‘You can dispose of my car for your journey’ it just doesn’t work, but in Spanish it does: ‘Puedes disponer de mi carro para tu viaje’ 🙂

A mistake I've noticed... The fruit is called aceituna, and the tree is called olivo., there's no aceituno... Although some people might say oliva instead of aceituna to refer to the fruit Also another example of the exceptions to the general rule it's: La uva comes from la parra (feminine)
As an Andalusian, we don't say "Aceituno" referred as the tree, we will say "Olivo", but we eat "Aceitunas", and our oil is from "Oliva". "Aceituno" is usually used in village's names, but you will hear no one using it as the tree's name, not even the old people. I don't know if they say "Aceituno" in other Spanish-speaking countries, but in Spain the "Olivo" thing is really confusing, so is pretty common to not knowing how to use it, you just get it when you live here🫶🏼
